More MT4 Chart Troubles

How can we apply wording labels to MT 4 chart & keep the labels in place when changing time frames. In the past the labels would hold in place. By labels I mean such as......Next High at 3200. When I change time frames the labels are removed, but the trend line or horizontal line will remain.

Also still unable to scroll back in time no more than 6 weeks. Is anyone having these issues?


Those using MT 5, are you having these issues? Are MT % charts better?

Are you using Text or Text Label?

Have you read the User Guide?

It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

Thank you for your help. Will try later today to get the labels to stay put following what you have suggested. It was probably me making a mistake.

Do you have any idea why I am only able to scroll back 6 weeks?

You'll have to try to download more data is my best guess

De-select the Auto Scroll, zoom all the way in, tap the Home key, see if it moves left, hold Home down to load more data, try different timeframes

If that works, search this Tech section for the Scripts that will download all data for all symbols

Erubus, Update. Your instruction work on the text, but when I change time frames the label disappears, but the line the label was applied to stays in place. Never had to happen before.


Using the Daily chart I was able to scroll back 1 year. Not allowed to go more than 6 week back on other time frames.

Going to call the broker for their input & then on to the scripts as you suggested. Never had this issue before either.
