Hi there.

I started reading the quarters theory book and I can see the author uses in his examples a line chart (most likely a line on close). When I was reading about the overshoots and undershoots, he said that he considers valid a close, a high or low on those 25pip areas. Ok. Thing is you can have price overshooting a major level by more than 25 pips (which he would consider a valid break), then having the price coming back and closing on the low (upthrust). So on a bar chart you would have an overshoot of more than 25 pips (which then ceases to be an overshoot and turns into a valid break), and on the line on close chart you would have an undershoot.

So you see how this can give conflicting info.

Just would like to know your thoughts about that, cheers!

Hey Im not sure if your still using this method. I was building a strategy around it and am having trouble drawing overshoot and undershoot areas under the Large Quarter points, particularly my jpy pairs can you take a look at min and give your opinion?

You are correct NO INDICATOR whatsoever. Find this indicator & play with the settings & you'll have one of the best levels for the Quarters Theory.
Indicator = ! SweetSpots.mq4. I consider this more of a guide than an indicator. All it is doing is plotting the needed levels for the Quarters Theory.
BTW each pair will need its on setting to get the levels needed. Some pairs may use the same settings. Hope this helps someone.

Spot on. BTW: for the best indicator/guide to showing the Quarters Theory on the chart use ! MTH SweetSpot v01 for MT4. Your will need to spend some time to get the correct settings for each pair. Works well once you have the correct levels set. Line colors & line designs are all customizable. Quarters Theory works for short term & long term from my evaluation.

They want to make money, BUT this requires no large amount of indicators, so they are all searching for the Holy Grail of Trading while your trading what appears to be a productive way of trading. Stay focused on the Quarters & you just might make some pips. Best of trades to you.

My friend what pairs do you trade? I'll give you what I use. I use the 15M time frame. This is not my primary method of trading, but I do trade 2 pairs with this. You must follow what Trader Yotov describes. It works, but NOT ALWAYS. The Quarters Theory requires NO INDICATORS other that say ! MTH SweetSpot vo1. which is more of a guide than a typical indicator. Send me a couple of your favorite pairs & I'll get back to you. Best wishes in your Quarters Theory journey.

Im having trouble finding this indicator when i search indicators in the market tab, whats the exact spelling of it "MTH" doesn't bring anything either

Grimsavage, Here you go...……………..go to the Round Numbers Modification thread & there you will find the ! MTH SweetSpot v01 indicator. Its the best I've found for setting up the Quarters Theory levels. There are different settings for some pairs & some pairs can use the same settings. Example..Here is what I have for the EUR/USD... 10, 1000, True, 1.1, 125, Blue, 0, 1, 1, True, 250, Sea Green, Red, 0, 0. These are the settings in order as the appear when you load the indicator.

The SweetSpots Levels setting can be 100, 125 or 150 these are pair specific. The sublevels will be 250 on all pairs. The start Price seems to favor whole numbers such as 90 & as you will see what you put in this field will determine if the Levels are setup correctly to match what the Quarters Theory levels call for.

This indicator is sensitive to what you enter in each of the number fields so you will have to try different settings to get what is needed. The settings I gave you for the EUR/USD is what I have now have & it has the levels set correctly. This is not my way of trading, but it works if you follow what the rules advise. BUT NOTHING IS EVER 100% IN THIS BUSINESS.

I do have the Quarters Theory setup on the EUR/USD & will trade it from time to time, but its not my core method. You want hear many traders discussing this method for several reasons with one being it only requires the levels to be on the chart & not 10 other flashing light indicators. There are probably some keeping quite & trading it daily.

how do i get rid of the 500 sub levels and only keep the ones at 250 & 750?

No really sure how to accomplish that. The settings can be tricky to setup. Some pairs require a different setting.

i am looking for one dashboard based on quarter theory number and big round number but i wonder i didn't find in google uncle? any forex factory friend have any information? Is it possible to code one dash board so we can scan important smart money manipulation level (which pair is reject ,bounce from that big round /quarter number)
