Didnt know that can be done. But it works for me as it is.

Check post #93 . I've back tested it my SL for past 6 months.
Anything above the line is an uptrend, below the line is a downtrend.

TP are off, the entries are good. Unless the fibo tool and the EA are using a bit different calculation. You have 50% of the Mon, tue range as tp right? Check post #98 for my fibo settings.

OK, looks like you're entering @ 15% above/below range. Got it.

Also looks like your TP is 50% above/below range, or 35% TP. Correct?

What I'm unclear on is the SL. You mention a ratio of 1:0.9. So your SL on a long would be 75%, or 40% SL? And SL on short would be 25%, Assuming you draw your fibo from the bottom of range.

The changes to TP were introduced by transmat to match OPs request, so I don't know really which one is right. OP will have to clarify.

Hi EREBUS good to see you here many thanks for the past help and contributions im also enjoying your BREAKOUT strat in the other forum here on ff please is there anyway you can fashion that fibonacci of yours into an indicator to show entry stop loss and take profit for this strategy your style is kind of unique pls do help if you can and when yo are back on your lap top its a little bit similar to BOBOKUS FIBO but yours is somehow simple.Thanks

That simply cannot be answered yes or no, so many variables.

For me, if the trade is with the recent trend, and it is in profit or not far from entry, I would hold.

Here is a chart of AUDUSD showing that holding would work quite well into this week.

But as OP is following the GBP pairs, and lots of fundamentals recently for the pound, might not work so well.

So in this trade for Buy stop the TP is 62pips, SL is 71 pips. And for Sell stop the TP and SL are the same 62/71. So we have around 1:0.9 trade. I could actually make a tighter SL just to make it 1:1 because when I was backtesting there really wasn't a trade that was close call for the SL when it was a loss it went way beyond the SL.

I'm not saying this is perfect but the proposal was too big of a gap between the TP and SL it was around 1:3. So I've put in the numbers in the fibo and TBH I really don't know if its % or what does the fibo show so I can't tell you other than put in the values I gave and try it out. And also back testing a strategy is one thing real live trading is a whole another thing, when trade management comes in to play. I'm sure I would move the SL according to market situation and also move around TP or give it a trailing stop etc...

Hi everyone,
thank you 4ecstasy to share this system. It's very interesting to follow; e thank to everyone that work for EA.
I have a question. In the picture there are the input values for the EA. I would to know if are right; i noticed that are the same of version 1.2 and 1.3.

GJ result of the EA from 2015-2019. The runtime is really long. Not sure if it is due to the coding style.

Very nice results in the first week of trading this system.

GBPNZD +59 pips-- TP hit
GBPAUD +63 pips -- TP hit
GBPUSD +67 pips- TP hit
GBPCAD +88 pips--- TP hit
GBPJPY +2 pips - Closed manually
GBPCHF -24 pips - Closed manually
EURGBP -6pips - Closed manually

Total pip gained +249 for a week.

This week I traded the system manually using 4ecstasy's original settings and calculator.

Only traded GBP pairs, $171.00 profit. not bad at all.

Update, I cut the JPY pairs, GBPNZD hit take profit at 2.04, will close all going into the close
