Hi hayseed

So kind of you for the updated codes.

Would you please enlighten as to how, with MA+LSMA_nrp_mt_sw.mq4, to place the MAs (different MAperiods or different TimeFrames) in the same separate window below the price window?

Also, how many MAs can be placed in the same window?

Thank you & have great day!

Henry

hey henry.... not sure if there is max number of ma's that can be placed in the same window....

to place multiple ma's in the same separate window, after the first one, just click and hold on the indicator in your indicators list then drag it to the window where you want it and drop it....

just change any of the inputs needed.... the same goes for placing most indicators in the same window.....

when trying to place multiple indicators like the stochastic, qqe and rsi all in the same window, the reference lines like the 30, 50 and 80 will not line up correctly.... it's annoying to me......

for the best effect and clearest picture all the individual indicators need to be combined into 1.....h
to trade and code, keep both simple... no call to impress....h

hey henry..... the chart below shows the annoying misalignment......

the separate indicators were applied individually in the common manner..... the 50 reference line is between the 70 and 80 of others and it's somewhat misleading....

the lowest window has them all combined into a single indicator for a more precise view.....h

Thank you so much hay! Got it.

I want the MAs in the same sub-window in order not to clutter the price window. Reference lines are not important as what I want is the direction of the MAs in different time frames. Was able to place 4 of the MA indicators in the same window. Didn't go beyond that.

But the MA lines went haywire. Same when the indicators are in different windows. Maybe it's because market is closed. Will see how on Monday.

Have a great weekend!
