Hi guys,
Apologies for jumping in here but I'm a new member and not allowed to start my own thread...
I come from a sports betting/trading background and haven't started trading Forex yet but am interested in learning and building/testing my own strategies.
For sports backtesting I mainly use spreadsheets with various counting formula's etc, I was wondering what the easiest way is to backtest Forex strategies?
Do you also use spreadsheets, or are there tools which allow you to search through historical charts?
Things like, say for any given currency pair you wanted to search for every time there was a +50 pip move within a chosen timeframe, fairly simple searches really.
Cheers!
