{quote} so, you are talking about sun cycle ? david
Ignored
Yes, Sergey calls it the Annual Cycle. I have been trying to find a reason for price action to invert the predicted slope of the Sun Cycle using a 3rd harmonic.... these images show instances where that happens... My theory about the Sun entering a new house is very weak, actually. If anyone on the list might have insight about this phenomenon, please post it.

The data here is 4hr EUR/USD

not sure what you mean with 'sun entering a new house'. generally, sun would enter new sign, except if you have natal chart, and you monitor sun actually entering next house in natal chart.
so, do you have / use natal birth chart of Euro currency?

next, declination do you include in your calculations, o master?
sun entering 01aries every year, puts him (the sun) at 0° declination, on its way N(orth) = up.
every other planet has declination to, and it starts at 01ari, too.

anyone here into gann study, ttta maybe? i am going through second reading, first one being at least 5 years ago. fuuu, quickly time goes, master yoda!

another re-edition, 'periodicity', by j. buchanan. this book basically confirmed my hint, that every cycle is comprised of 7 'phases', or sub-cycles. same as bayer advocated in his 'egg'. (text and scanned original found on internet)

have fun,

godspeeed,

david

Thanks for the Buchanan piece, David...

Here's what I mean about the Sun entering a new house... not thinking about a natal chart... just the regular geocentric march of the Sun through the houses.

End of the week recap.... 65 pips

N.B., I posted an initial outlook that showed the market going up , then down at the end of the week... but I ran my usual Jupiter-Neptune 40h, 2.52 cycles projection line mid-week, but failed to post it on this forum... I should stick to the basics. Taxfreelt, your 1-29 post is in line with my idea...

In Gann's material there is not a single cycle studied scientifically. Even less persistent. ...

Hi Suryananda,

I was just reading your posts about W.D. Gann (Post #10.564 and so on). You are absolutely right. Read the book "The Strange Secret of William Delbert Gann: An Account of a Stock Market Scam" by Paolo Anders.

It is useful to look at a traditional channel with a long term view. I thought that prices would rally at the beginning of the week, but they may still have a ways to go. Right now we are back to April 2, 2017. Below is a weekly chart back to July 1, 2018.
