hi guys
anyone here can help me in a small adjustment in EA ?

I have an EA start work in hour and what i need is to work in specific hour and minute. anyone can help me in this issue ?

Some improvements were made in v6. Exit has been supported by an ATR exit. For the 1xATR or 2xATR exit as one mentioned, is the level [points], set to 100 by default. The Time in position could be slightly enhanced. However it costs a bit of the total profit. Everything on EURUSD H1 from 23.01.2018 till 25.09.2019.

For results there were made few statements on this EA apart from my testing and this forum. The EA ran pretty good since september, but since mid november was a stagnation period where the EA did losses or didn't trade. Afterall not a negative PF. It could be that these are just negative slopes like we see in Balance/Equity charts and the EA will recover them.

EDIT: In v7 runs the exit via ATR only.

Improved the max. Stagnation period in v7.

The Curves above are fitted, works (with default setting) without fitting too, but not so effective. The MFI has in this EA a regression plotting feature, and takes trades after certain behavoir. The primary goal should be fitting keltner and figuring out how to limit stagnation time to shortest possible period.

Could you specify at which periods it doesn't run in your case? Never had such a problem.

@reeller ..thank you for all your information..as far as I understood you tested only EURUSD and H1 Timeframe..

do you have additional experience on other currencies or timeframes ?? (H4 or D1)

The results are indeed impressive ...drawdown might not be as low as one could expecct. but all in all looks great.

EURUSD is by far the most difficult pair to trade (my opinion) and the appreciated playground for the big players..

These Curves are more or less optimized as you can read in Post#65. Pretty sure you can optimize it more, but the main focus is pointed out in Post#65.

More opinions would be helpful. My opinion doesn't count here. I have got this EA with few others running on EURUSD H1. But I close them and also open new positions by hand. The EA is just kind of supporting with a closer SL and open TP. For example if many EAs take a trade, I help them by trading higher amounts or manage those trades somehow by hand. So I can't say that the EA works for sure and for all. And afterall, if you choose a too wrong setting or didn't care about Post#65, the EA will have a long stagnation time eventually and you are right in that time period. Theoretically you could have 3 setting files for a cycle, for up, down, sideways trend.

With smaller TFs it works as well. With higher TFs (H4 and D1) the testing wasn't good (still unfit keltner). So I didn't make any reference to those TFs. So primary TFs are H1 and M30.

The results are semi-impressive. An unfit keltner is the reason why the Time in Trade and the Stagnation Time are so high. So yes you get less bad trades out of it, but with a relative high DD with a long trade runtime. And when you haven't set your setting for the current situation, it doesn't take a trade.

Really cool and good to know! For what period of time? This time I'll test vs 7 and try to avoid trading pairs with news events for the day. I'll take profit @ ADR. It should be more profitable that way.
