Disliked{quote} I have not noticed that..are you stating that it repaints before the candle closes, that's why most traders will trade after the candle has closed...once the candle has closed I don't think it repaints..Ignored
Disliked{quote} yes my intention was higher timeframe values of cci. what's your opinion about using higher periods of M5 cci instead of higher TF of cci ? like this: {image}Ignored
DislikedBoth eurusd and euryen were very straight forward and my method lines up very nicely for short entries..how did I miss these entries? {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Since I am using the 5 min chart, everything on this chart must show the requirements for a long in this case...price moves from the lowest tf and then gradually you get to see the move on a higher tf..that is why you must be satisfied with the condition in the tf you are using..you can make money on a long even though the trend is down on a htf...I have put up a picture which looks like a Christmas tree(I got that from TMS thread) which shows 3 time frame...that picture tells the whole story about trading,,,you have to know where your entry...Ignored
Disliked{quote} you are partly correct concerning the cci14...but as you can see even with your entry marked you will still end up profitable but you will endure a bit of dd..I am always trying to look for as perfect an entry as possible and I have mentioned in several posts before that in order to be profitable you must get the direction correct though your entry is slightly "out" ( too early or slightly late).Ignored
Disliked{quote} if you say Id be in drowdown and not stoped by stoploss this means your stoploss would not be under E bars you would put stoploss under last higherlow you marked on chart before E bars?Ignored
DislikedTwo live trades from me today EURNZD - Fail EURGBP = Success @Pips, my entry in EURNZD seems good. Do you see any reasons why it was failed. Thanks tnm {image} {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} You are banging on a break of the previous day low and also you are more or less trading LO which I don't . I am not able to give you a good answer as I do not trade the LO..I normally trade after the first hour of LO and preferably after the 4 hour candle has formed which on my platform means 2 hours after LO...sorryIgnored
Disliked{quote} I have put up a picture which looks like a Christmas tree(I got that from TMS thread) which shows 3 time frame...that picture tells the whole story about trading,,,you have to know where your entry is looking at the picture..I am too lazy to go back to find this picture..I have also seen it on Strat's thread before..if someone can post this picture I can explain more..difficult to explain without a pictureIgnored
Disliked{quote} I found the picture you look its in my post 6230 but I think you missed the postIgnored
Disliked{quote} Here's the picture where I marked yellow for a short which will work out even though the primary trend is up but be aware that the move counter trend with the htf trend will always be small so don't expect bumper pips But had you gone with the htf the harvest will be bountiful...had you gone long with the htf and taken an entry long where I mark in yellow you will have to endure a drawdown before the smaller tf rejoins the htf trend....so you need to time your entry correctly to avoid dd {image}Ignored
