Finding it hard to see what would sustain it, thinking a slowdown will be raising it's ugly head, for now will short at any opportunity, that's if this one isn't the start, think there will be more value and less risk.

I’m not confident about it being bearish based on how the price reacts at certain levels. The inventory numbers pushed it down this morning but there was zero follow through. In fact it was bought into and taken right back into the range. It seems to be in a accumulation phase vs trending hence the haphazard up and down movements. And my bias is slightly tilted towards the bulls. Either way I’m not married to any side and will jump on board once it gets going

Fair balanced point KF, closing for the break, favouring the upside so will need to cover before close, still banging my drum, but as always could be and have been wrong, D

Ordinarily wouldn't sell while the price at the lower boundaries, it would be a no brainer buy for me, but thing something has changed, suppose we'll see.

The first plot shows the price volatility per hour (The timezone is in GMT).

For the seasonality plot we have:
Up count: 14 (Number of times that the prices increased in Jan)
Down count: 4 (Number of times that the prices decreased in Jan)
Mean: 6.648888888888888 (Average price move during January)

IEA: Oil demand growth estimates for 2020 unchanged at 1.2mln bpd

In its January month oil market report, the International Energy Agency (IEA) offers the following projections while warning that the Mid East crisis is far from over.
Key Highlights:
Iraq oil supply potentially vulnerable amid rising political risks in the region.
US-Iran tensions and Iraqi protests had only minimal impact on oil operations.
But fragile situation may limit Iraq's plans to expand oil production capacity.
That may make it difficult for global industry to meet rising long-term demand.
