Hey ForexHoly, sorry for responding to your question about how I use volume so late, I typed up a very long step-by-step explanation of one of my methods just after taking these screenshots late thursday night as I was preparing for london session, but before I could hit send the battery on my laptop died because I forgot to plug it in. I got so angry that I wanted to just forget about it for a day or two, so here is my second attempt (which i'm typing in an evernote type app synced in the cloud before I copy & paste into forexfactory, lol)

Since downloading the ama slope last week from one of your posts in this thread, its been working much better than the RSI for semafor reversal confirmation; so my strategy steps will include it rather than the RSI. also note, I still have the MFI_Money_Flow_Index left on the charts as I'm still in testing mode for it to see if its better than RSI, as its basically an RSi/Stochastics but takes volume into consideration. so far the ama slope works better than both RSI & MFI in my opinion, so disregard the MFI being left up on my charts.

The VWAP is the volume indicator I'm using in this strategy. its the green dotted line with the 3 red dotted lines above deviating from the VWAP as resistance & the 3 purple dotted lines deviated from the VWAP underneath as support. the VWAP deviation settings I use are the fibonacci 2.618 (I use fibonacci numbers for literally everything in charting, lol) most VWAP deviation indicators like market statistics use fib ratios as default anyways. Please note if your not familiar with VWAP and how it works, it recalibrates itself every 24 hours as it only incorporates volume/tick data from that day to carry out its functionality. the 00 candle starts a new day for VWAP but because I live in new york, the 00 candle is 5PM eastern here. I painted an aqua colored horizontal line to designate the start of a new VWAP day.

-Rules for entry ---> Once a semafor signal paints on or near any of the VWAP deviation lines including the VWAP itself I take the trade. To confirm reversal & to help confirm the semafor has stopped repainting, I wait for the first AMA Slope signal to paint in the direction of the reversal. I color code the strategy so the green semafors match with green AMA slope & red semafors match with red AMA slope signals to make everything easier.

So things to note are... well for 1 it's crazy how accurate this is & that the semafors paint on the VWAP & its deviation lines quite often as you can see in the screenshots. Also note that level 3 semafors almost always paint on the outer most deviation lines. those are the most high probability trades yielding the most pips, considering I took these on the M1 & M5 timeframes.

I took time to research VWAP & how it supposed to be traded, but I found that improvising in order to accommodate for the semafors gave me more entries without sacrificing a high win rate ratio. if price is above VWAP and then comes down to it as support & rejects the VWAP then the rest of the day is supposed to be bullish. if price is below VWAP, then comes up to it as resistance & gets rejected then the market is supposed to be bearish for the day. as you can see in the screenshots if I stuck to this rule I would've missed many trades, and in the past i did because I was sticking to the rules of VWAP. Once I started to improvise & make my own rules based upon putting in hours upon hours of chart time I started to see patterns repeating over & over.

Also, checking for a level 3 semafor on a higher time frame like H1 or H4 can help filter out the smaller trades that don't yield as many pips. this way I know the strongest trend & only trade with that, experiment for yourself. I don't do that as much now as I only trade GBP pairs now. these pairs have an ADR of 110 pips minimum, they move/trend so much and so frequent that the semafors respond to them the best giving me more signals & opportunities than any other pairs. non-GBP pairs move so slow & range so much that I had to confirm direction with level 3 semafors on higher time frames.

hope this helps! I will be sharing more strategies in the very near future as I'm working on a new one now that incorporates some of the templates/indicators you just shared in the last page or 2. I'm experimenting with Semafors, Volume & MTF TMA Bands. still testing but I'm stoked!
