I am close to completing the challenge. If I become funded, and stick to risk parameters, daily lose and total loss, how do I lose funding? What if I have a bad month and end down 1%, lose funding after losing month?

Wait that makes absolutely no sense. Pay a small fee for the opportunity to trade an account worth millions? Isn't that what retailers do by default with small accounts and high leverage?

i think the luxury dinner such FTMO is promising... but still have good hope instead bad one.
after my failure i thought to take a new challenge, but is there any one here has passed the challenge and got money.

So far no one has informed in any way of getting funded account and getting money except for one video of a guy from Austria and the video was made and published by FTMO. The funny fact is that the conversation ended with “Buy buy. See you” like they were recording a Skype session while sitting in two different rooms beside each other. Funny isn’t it!

I just feel the smell of something fishy, I can’t help it.

I have no read any women gossip here. As a matter of fact I’ve been reading only facts here and the simple truth is that you cannot argue against facts. Besides, reputation is not something you get and take for granted. It’s something you need to work hard for and win deservedly. I am yet to see and read fact that count for the reputation of FTMO or any other company with a similar business model.
Just for the record there’s nothing against FTMO in particular here, but against all of these similar organizations. All they just seem to fail providing enough and convincing evidences proving to the small traders around the world that they will get the profits they generate. I have been searching the internet for positive feedbacks and I can’t see anything other than a polite customer support during the challenge. Nothing else. Just nothing else.

I think FTMO can't post passed challanges with ID because i think these is violation of trust between a trader and company, postin personal rsults have severals resaons why they don't want to do it .... here you have a few passed challanges

I do agree with mizi.... I think they are legit... They do sound fair to me.. I more and more considering to do a challenge to prove here they are, and then I know for sure what they are... If it smells fishy i don't eat it haha...

The lack of proof provided from the FTMO administration is serious. I really don't understand why they don't show some rock solid proof, not just some testimonials on their website or forex peace army reviews that can be easy made up and manipulated, even their own youtube reviews could be made up.

And it's always the same answer instead of providing the proof that is needed to stop the doubts on forex factory forum.

I saw that there is a member of Desire to trade that has passed the challenge. Look it up.... Étienne crête is the funder of desire to trade.... He posted it not to long ago.

I'm really surprised that so many users write here, that doesn't work or why should I pay before, or the rules are strict that doesn't work. Guys, girls - if you have no strategy, no risk management and as a hobby you are a trader, then you should do nothing. You won't make it and you won't make money.

Forex trading is the king discipline and you need years of training and experience. But what should you do if you are a banker and have spent your money for years on women, food, cars and business flights?! You have no money. Then you go with your experience to FTMO, Audacity Capital or the5ers and do what you can, TRADE, MAKE MONEY.

It doesn't matter if you trade 0.01 lot or 10 lot, or 100 lot - the strategy is always the same. You should not care how much money you make, you do it because you can and because you are a professional. The investors pay you 70% of the profit because they can't do it.

A little insight into my strategy:
GBPUSD, 5 Lot (6,5k Margin) - if the market goes well I will go into the market with another 5 Lot.
I hedge BrE already at 12p - why! Because losing money is stupid.
At 35p I take 50% of the winnings and set the SL to EMA18 (runs automatically)
At 70p (rarely happens) I take another 50% profit.
Smaller reversals at the market, I trade with 2,5 Lot (I collect the bread crumbs, they bring money, too.
My goal is 1.5% profit every day ($1.5k by $100k account). Who trades GBPUSD knows that it works :-)
I realize profits and avoid losses. I do not let losses run.
And I am active (almost) every day.

Quick info on me:
I am a german banker living in Dubai and I am working for myself since 2020. Because everywhere it is getting more and more difficult to comply with the regulations of the bank supervision. I am fed up with the bad weather and the stupid people (envy, gloating and bad mood). Now I do my own thing.

Okay, MT4 is different from banking software than what I am used to. So first I had to build a MT4TradingDesk and create an indicator and get an API/indicator for an orderbook. I'm now testing different things and soon I'll be up and running. Trading is the same, okay the lot numbers are 500, 1000 lots are different now it's 5 lots :-)

There is a lot of money out there and few people who can handle it.
This is our chance, yours is my chance.

Hey teacher, go teach some elsewhere. Stop teaching here that one needs a strategy in order to trade successfully. Thanks for pointing at the obvious. You should presume that traders who approach forex trading for making a living, know what strategy and money management is.

Yes they (FTMO) address good and professional traders, yet their rules are made for totally unprofessional way of trading.
Said that, keep in mind that nobody is lacking a strategy here and stop preaching around the same thing over and over again.

People are smart enough here around to create their own strategy and test it with a proper money management. The traders here require legitimacy and authenticity provided by these organizations, something all they fail to provide. This fact has been mentioned several times and not only here, still the above mentioned continue searching for fresh meat without providing any solid evidence supporting their legitimacy.
