SWEDE - not bad IMHO

my experience is the framework is more important than the details.;

details are important but secondary meaning coming in second rang

the first idea is that Envelopes give on the spot a better reading / analysis of Price Action trend

the aim of one envelope is to envelope "most of" price data between 90 and 100 %
the second use of one envelope is to generate as most as possible of usable contact points with price action
the 3 rd use of Envelopes is to underline the trend, it is why the system use 3 Envelopes - short term, mid-term, long term (relatively to the TimeFrame used)

to build Envelopes you use Centered Moving Averages to which you add and substract the Gann Octave and its sub-harmonics

the Gann Octave is roughly the division by 8 of the price range of the Timeframe you use = more or less the highest high and the lowest low on your screen

to follow

I can see the value of using the envelope method...messy as it is, it really does add clarity to your entries (ok im anal and dont like messy charts, sorry.)...but I must say this, for me, the best thing I have learned since experimenting with Time and Price is measuring the major swings, dividing them by 8 using the
Gann Octaves Levels, then setting the Fib Fan correctly and I have a road map the makes it so easy for me to trade, or to jump on an entry without fear.

Now I must say,,,underlying all of this is the weekly pivots by Davit....my point is the pivots are the alert, the Octaves are the levels and if the Time factor is in agreement then the trade is a no brainer...

I want precision if possible, hate too big a draw down and this gives me some pretty precise entries....hope im not offending anyone...

some more time insights: 8 full trading days is the time key, why because it is an eight of each quarter which is a quarter of each year, divide your chart into 8 day segments ... which begs the question where do you start from, this time of year is tricky because of holidays therefore work backwards from day 1 of Q2
