Nice, you would've picked some nice pips . I only trade the Asian, and find myself hitting hard with smaller price range. Asian moves tend to be cleared out by London and US sessions. I like tight SL though and looking at the times you posted I think you were in DD for a few hours

Thank you Hellsbells, yeah I was willing to take some DD so I could get some sleep, I added to my position when I woke up this morning. Was a little surprised it went as low as it did. But end result was the same and am happy with the amount of profit for a Friday. Am excited about the opportunities I will find next week and looking forward to entering on several pair.

I look for longer trend entries on mon-wed, but not fridays. Hopefully I can come along for the ride on monday
Took a beating yesterday when I made an incorrect assumption that the AUS dollar had already priced in rates staying the same. However got back in the game last night. More AUS red news today, which I'm very wary of.... and the swap on this pair looks awful, so my plan isn't set ATM. Feeling bullish EUR, the news out of AUS is bad, big surprise the China deal is bad again.. hhmmm. Ideally of course I'd like to see EUR have another strong day and AUS retreat. That yellow line coincides with 50SMA on daily

NB besides the red AUS news, there's more orange Caixn China news and hour or so later which is what triggered the big AUS up move last time
Overall the cautious and recently burnt trader in me wants to simply TP before the end of day, and maybe re enter post news..but I have a good position so...
At the very least I have tightened my SL, plenty of time to make a decision. I'll probably take the hit on the swap at this stage, depending on how it ends the session.

Putting a couple more buy orders in @ 1.6193ish w/TP 1.63 and going to bed. Lets see if it grabs it tonight, already have a few longs between that and 1.6206.

Update: TP1 was hit at 1.6260, TP2 1.63 missed. Was stopped out with profit at 1.6240. Ready for some more next week.

Getting closer for time to enter, will set some sell orders to get me started. Not sure if it will make it to R23, but who knows, definitely will be in the market momentarily either way. Final TP will be @1.6055 /S100 pivot.
