I finally deciphered the secret angle method after and range squaring strategies over the season period after going through a crash course on the Jenkins, I was going through the Astro Vol I course but had to backtrack into his earlier courses and WALAH !! it all made sense and now applying the concepts on charts, I'm really excited with what I have learnt so far, this year should be exciting. Do you trade stock options? these methods are gold if one uses them with options.
Just wanted to ask do you know what course Michael Jenkins taught the JTTL tool? I might have to write him again for some info but feel

That was a really good article, thanks for posting, and so true. I have found mt4 is lacking so much when it comes to Gann angles and such due to scaling problems. Even tradingview, although it has many Gann tools, using specific angles is really difficult at least on the smaller time frames. If you want their pro charts it cost just as much as getting the best charts for Gann trading, like Optuma or Ensign or the charts mentioned in the article., so why not invest in the best? Anyway, that has been my experience so far.

So this post is directed to all of you that use MT4 and taking your time investing in better charts until you can see reason to change. There are so many ways to use Gann but probably the most basic is Time and Price and guess what?...MT4 works pretty good if you stay with daily charts and make a few minor adjustments. My quest this year was to find accuracy of entry, and Peter graciously introduced us to Jenkins, Beck and of course the Gann methods. A big Thank You for that Diamond miner because I can see the potential here, having witnessed it myself with some smoking good trades since adopting a few things you suggested...this is how I set up my daily charts, and I no longer even look at hourly or less.

1...your cycle tool in mt4 sets the time....find a swing high/low...compare with others to see if it corresponds with other cycles, set it for your vertical lines...Now look at the chart posted and the check marks shown...can you see how many times price did in fact reverse almost precisely at these intervals?

2..for price support or resistance I converted my fib retracement tool to divide the overall high by the overall low by 8 octave levels basic to Gann....providing very strong support resistance levels. You can draw them easily, but I'm kind off lazy, why not convert a tool to do it for you??

3...for angles scrap your MT4 Gann fan completely...use your fib fan instead, set at 25 point increments as suggested by Jenkins....works very well.

I hope some of you may find this helpful. Sorry I have not posted more, I hibernate during December, still reeling from a life changing event 15 min before midnight, New Years eve 4 years ago.

So, for my long term holds I’m committed to perfecting Gann into my trading. But even then one is a fool if fundamentals such as news pending, interest rates etc is ignored. Davit has done a good job drilling that home to anyone who follows.

For trading short term there is no finer thread in FF than Davit’s Pivot trading. The method developed there is second to none, and in particular I enjoy Cryptosurf Low Hanging Fruit entry at key pivot levels because it suits my quest for a little more precision on my entries...( ok I know I’m a bit anal)

All in all two great threads in my humble opinion....also, I’m enjoying getting to understand Parisboy envelopes methods, but need to do more study...

I admit I have always found Cad difficult to trade but with this chart set up a very clear roadmap becomes apparent...just another example of my last post for the Euro..good potential for a long depending on price action at this level....
