{quote} GREAT SPOT sabooky!!! Many thanks for that! Another pair of eyes is always better... I should perhaps get a bigger screen This bug shows up only on 2/4-digits brokrs, that why i couln't see it (i use a 5D brokr), and why it would not affect everyone. So... attached is v1.3b of the EA with this fix. SQ {file} {file}

{quote} Hey Merritt.... nice work man! I took a look into your codes and did some mod in your entries approach.... I'm not saying that you've a problem with entry, but I refined things that I judge could be better and I've to say.... the results were very good indeed. ''What we did was use the edge of the box as the new Entry Point''
I can't understand the entry point exactly. Firstly a bar crosses up the edge of the box, the next bar you will enter.
If the next bar's close is below the previous bar's high will you enter?
If the next bar's close is below the previous bar's close will you enter?
Or you will enter at the next bar's open in any case?
You dont use 1.3 rate for entry, what are the drawbacks?
If I use this system at stock market endexes have I some problems?
Thank you far all..

So you don't allow an entry based on the opening candle of the session? Always ignore that 1st candle?

Fantastic thread! Thanks to the original poster and those who helped it along the way. Finally finished reading the whole thread and did a period of backtesting and some forward testing with some awesome results. I have been trading it live (manually as I don't use MT4) across 3 pairs and have banked 49% profit in a week and a half so far! I only trade the 1st sets of each open and I multiply the next day if today loses but not using Martingale so I can use good risk per trade and the stats for multiple days of losing is so low I can use that to my advantage.

Hi everyone!

I can't backtest the EA on Metatrder... Does anyone have the same problem?

Apart from the time, which you gotta set according to the broker time, what else need to be done?

Thank you

Hi all. I am a new member in east coast USA. As a night owl, I like to trade the London breakout. I was wondering if there is an EA that can do the following on MT4:

1. Count back 5 candles from London open
2. If 3 of 5 candles are green, place a sell order with 30 PIP profit target on session open
3. If 3 of 5 candles are red; place a buy order with 30 PIP target on session open

Thanks for your help in advance

Dear frankyol Sir, the 3 Tier London Breakout EA v1.3c.mq4 entry point is at the edge of the breakout box, but I want to set the Offset for entry point from the edge of the breakout box. For example I want the function that I can choose or input the offset that EA can buy or sell X pips above or below the edge of the breakout box. Could you please add this function into 3...
Ignored
Hello there,
There is already a function in EA that does that.
In the case of buyers, when crossing passes upper box line if Ask is greater than (upper box line price + TP1)/2 it won't trade
You have to change the marked in bold condition :

if (iClose(NULL,TFforReentry,1) <= BuyEntry && Ask >= BuyEntry && Ask < (BuyEntry+BuyTP1)/2) {
lotsToTrade = get_lotsToTrade(magic1, TP_pips,SL_pips);
_OrderSend(symbol,OP_BUY,lotsToTrade,Ask,SLIPPAGE,BuySL, BuyTP1,TradeComment,magic1,0,Blue);
The only secret to success is never giving up
