I showed a screen with the deals of this particular adviser. This is a test screen. And all the deals were made by this adviser, but the statistics did not change in any way. Therefore, it interested me.

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood. Looks like that could be a bug - I'll look into it.

Thanks Paul. I have played around with other time frames - USDCAD 5 Min is not too shabby for example. But the performance is hampered by the odd trade that gets into drawndown for a long time - usually to the end of the test. Its much easier to analyze trading statistics in MT5 but anyway -
a few suggestions that could maybe improve it:
Stop and reverse: If long position(s) are open and a sell signal occurs - close longs and reverse to short. If you think trading logic it makes sense, if the model wants to go short there should not be any reason to keep a long position and visa versa
Close on Friday: Will take down swap cost and quite frankly over weekend positions increases risk dramatically. Can maybe be combined with no new trades after say lunch EST Friday.
Channel filter: Calculate for example some sort of envelope (BB or some other band) on a higher timeframe. Only take sell signals for example if in the higher timeframe price is in the top quartile for example of the envelope/channel, or above 50% or some sort of other variation.

After installation on chart i am getting message "Trade allowed: No-Market is closed" but market is open.

Paul what is the method for close of a trade? Using your template I don’t see a TP on the euro pair template. Does one close the trade manually or does the EA.close the trade? Thank you for all your hard work. I shall test this EA on a demo account for now to analyze it.

Forgot to change to fixed lot thats why are 1st few trades with higher lots.

Everything default on H1.

It uses break even and trailing stop.

This is most likely because your broker has some non standard holiday settings because of christmas

So guys, overall this method is legit? anyone tested it out? i tried EA and its not making the right trades as it should... can someone show me some results? its pretty simple and legit... but im not sure about it.. Does it work on real account? is there any account connected to myfxbook? + what risk do you recommend to use? on 1h time frame

Okay, now i read the thread. everything seems fine to me. i tried backtesting it and it goes fine until it doesnt.. RR is very poor here i guess. i had almost 95% succes rate, but those 5% went really bad and took all my winings.

In my opinion i would make a time stoploss... if tp doesnt hit in 1 day i will stop my trade, max 5% risk on account.. that means you have hard stop on 5%.

Did you include that second wich has to be higher than the previous wick? to make a trend like he says in his book. One more thing, he said you need to visualy see this setup, don't think EA can help you there, neither do indicators because you need a trained eye to see those setups.

I noticed your indicators puts entries where Open candle and Close candle price are together, that doesn't look like valid setup.

Maybe if the candle close is above previous candle close you can say its not valid setup(this is for Buy)? because i'ver seen alot of examples about that and they fail alot
