I did not receive a response to my question (Post#: 861) with regards to the whether a trader must make their first trade of the challenge before December 20th or merely purchase the challenge before the 20th to receive the extra 10 days of the challenge. I also haven't received an answer to my question regarding whether or not there is a minimum lot size that must be traded in a day in order for that day to be considered a "trading day" and count towards the minimum of 10 trading days that are required to pass the challenge.
Anyways, since I decided to go ahead and purchase the 100K challenge tonight. I have faith in my EA and I am sure that it will pass the challenge/verification phase regardless of whether or not I get the extra ten days or if there is a minimum lot size that must be traded in a day in order for that 10 to be considered a "trading day" and count towards the minimum of 10 trading days. Hopefully I get the extra 10 days though, as that would only increase my chances of success.

Hi Otakar! First, let me say that I am very excited for the FTMO challenge! I discovered FTMO about 1 year ago and decided to create an EA that was made specifically for the challenge. I have spent the last year developing and optimizing this EA and have recently started to run it on a demo account. Hi, Anyone from India as Funded trader. I want to know how we pay tax in India for the profit share that we receive to our Indian account. Is it legal in India to trade forex thru firm like FTMO?. Do we need to inform bank when the profit share is transferred?. If i say I am self-employed, do i need to get a GST? Regards, Vivi-l
Thank you for your questions. We have several FTMO Traders from India and I think they did not inform their bank when they were receiving profits. We are able to send you profit share directly in Indian rupees so there are no issues with bank transfers. Regarding your other questions, please try to do your own research and if necessary, contact a specialist in your country. We cannot assist you with taxes and legal issues in India.
I've been wondering why they use the retail brokers they do. Why not just deal directly with PoP liquidity provider? I assume they have a deal with these broker and receive rebate on commission/spreads. The challenge is not particularly difficult. Once you receive funding, obviously the daily loss and total loss % rule apply forever, but do you still need to make >10% every month with >50% profit days? If you only manage to make 8.9% one month is your funding cancelled? If so this is no doubt what happens to most people.
) )we have started with retail brokers as we believe that traders want to trade where they are used to. However, we are also preparing our own professional solution, which will be announced soon. As to when you become the FTMO Trader, there is no profit target nor 50 % profit days requirement.
