Nahh, just want to hear all you voices, your right though, what I will say, if we trade in another fashion to each other with success it would be wrong to try and change what's not broken this, but how about giving it a try, been watching the MD vid, he explains manipulation at it's finest, thanks for the upload, D

Half way through I started thinking is this guy making his money from books and seminars?

WTI H4 Jan Contract End of Week, Dec 20

The H4 chart shows a strong run continuing from a low on Dec 3. Quite coincidently, I'm sure, the NQ (NASDAQ-100), YM (DJIA), and ES (SP500) contracts also took off on Dec 3 and are still running.

The Green Arrow appeared on the WTI H4 chart at 56.53 on Dec 3. It is now up ~383 pips from the crossing of the EMA20, which brought out the arrow.

The Strange Case of the Green Arrow

A run of 383 pips (3.83 points) means a gain of 3830 $ on a 1000 $ day trade margin for the WTI futures contract. That is a 383% gain on the margin, or 4.83x on the margin capital. The bad news is that would have entailed two+ weeks of trade management, a serious strain for many amateur traders, myself included.

Over in the indices department, for the same date range, NQ would have returned ~7600 $ on 500 $ margin after its Green Arrow. That is a 1520% gain on the margin, or 16x on the margin capital.

If you don't know how to hold a position for 2 weeks on day trade margin, one closes the trade shortly before 16:00 ET and reopens shortly after 18:00, so there is no 'overnight' position, but little price difference (usually).

There is a half-size WTI contract for 500 bbl. Some futures brokers offer that on a 500 $ day trade margin. The micro indices are 1/10th the size of the minis. Some brokers have a proportional day trade margin of 50 $ for them.

And Finally...

For the present, all thoughts of the approaching Greatest Depression have been dispelled by cherry-picking the nice economic data while ignoring the not-nice data. So 2020 will be a wonderful year, economically speaking, as we approach ever closer to infinity in the markets. The actions of central banks are to keep the party going. Fools are enjoying an abundant supply of greater fools.

Bit of a correction/ possible profit taking ahead of the weekend and possibly festive break.

From a technical perspective interested to see how price action behaves near that near support handle near the 38 fib....

The previous crossover near point (i) was met buy support near point (ii) as such the most current rally has seen a crossover (A) first bounce near B... lets see if the weekly open will support the idea that we get a rally going on or even sideways movement....any sideways move will be promising for bulls provided we remain above the 200 on the H1 or the breach thereof will see us challenge the daily 200 at 57.4..

A drop to 58 ,a little bounce there but nothing important followed by free fall to 55 ... the 50 - 61.5 trend channel if full of Stops ,now ready to be taken...this is road to 50...

nice chart. brent wise expecting buyers to come at 65.23-31 area should there be a drop .. also around 23% retrace of the rally from major swing point 60.28. lets see.

Supportive structure coming in near the 60.07.....continued hourly close below the handle exposes further weakness, let’s see how price behaves leading through to the NY open session
