Hi TTB,
From the few days of forward testing, I agree that the EA in regular mode is better than HF mode.
The "salami slicer" doesn't give any advantage as it is currently implemented.
But, forward testing with different combinations of settings shows how robust and flexible this EA gem is.
My 2 cents, a trailing stop would be the next leap forward. Cut the loses and let the profits run.
Looking forward to PaulDV's next version.

Hello everyone, I am new to this thread and reading it seemed very interesting.
I was testing the strategy for a week manually and also the EA.
With respect to manual operation, I calculate take profit automatically using the ATR indicator in 14 periods. This gives me the flexibility to become independent of the calculation of pips for the TP in the different currency pairs, whose volatility is different. I mean, the same amount of TP pips does not apply for GBPUSD, for example, as for EURUSD, in a given time frame.
Testing the EA, it gave me excellent results in the NO high frequency mode, with all the pairs of coins I tried. It really is excellent. In my humble opinion, I think that adding the possibility of handling the TP and SL with the ATR indicator would give the robot a very interesting versatility.

what about using it with a filter like opening only at oversold and overbought areas of a stochastic for example? just to add some weight for the rejection. Regards

With all due respect, in this strategy it is not necessary to use indicators that define an entry. It is given by the pattern of candles formed.
Hello. I have added, several things, trailing stop, sl, and tp, based on ATR, or not, stop those modified by broker spread increase, stop loss modified with open orders during the news. If you find errors, expose them. Let's see if we correct it together. The different parameters need to be optimized.

I can think of two functionalities that would add a lot of value:
1) Automatic calculation of the lot size: It can be based on a percentage of expected balance or equity gain based on the size of the defined TP. Another possibility is to base it on a percentage of the risk taken with the SL.
2) Make the multi currency EA.

My 2 cents i dnt think EA could be a good choice for this strategy because u cant stop EA to produce false signal and if one wrong signal triggered it will cost u lot.
The trades which u opened manually u are more concerned and responsible to monitor and look around and hence in case of wrong trade, u have some protective technique of cut loss which depend on ur mental strength, EA will never cutloss and drag u in deep water.
Is the real tp= standard tp - spread?????
To who added to the tp the correction for the spread of the broker. A tick-to-tick trial has been done, with variable real spread, 1/100 leverage. Initial account: 130 dollars. Result: Profitabile.

Anything above the line is an uptrend, below the line is a downtrend.
Im on mobile for next week has anyone counted on average how many orders the EA opens in a day/week/month based on extensive high quality tick data backtests?

And yes - automatic lot size based on risk and account size would be better imo. The biggest benefit of using fixed lot size is losses are kept to a minimum as your account grows I guess. But then so will your gains. Hey, another parameter wouldn’t hurt to use fixed lot size or based on risk %.

Great job. 4th setting seems like most stable setting on long term. Did you also use IC markets?

How come 4 and 5 have the same candle/wick setting (1.5 & 1.0) but 4 produced much more trades than 5 in the same timespan?

Wow, more insane results. And here i thought this is just a simple pa setup, maybe author was right about fx market gonna collapse.
