tnx, is that from the contrarian thread here on ffactory ? im following that thread but no one posted a dashboard to my knowledge. im jusy testing their theory about going against the retail traders at myfxbook. but there were no trades this week according to their rules.

Yep reading on the other thread as well but the DB has nothing to do with it. It's just one more tool to be more effective. I do not follow them, just my own interpretation. Another point of view = other results.

I agree with MAGIX. sometimes I see a new thread like "THE EASIEST SIMPLEST TRADE STRATEGY EVER!!!!" and then I look a week later and there are 5,000 posts. WTF? If was truly easy and simple we would not have this many posts. Like this...

I wouldn't use any EMA in Bollinger Bands EA strategy because you are trading two different strategy's at the same time. Also EMA's never work in a EA, perhaps SMA's if you must use a moving average.

I trade 3 different Bollinger band EA's, they all are profitable for a few reasons.
1.. Only trade a pair that favours reversal models in a reversal Bollinger band strategy
2.. Trade at least 5-7 pairs at the same time to help hedge the draw down.
3.. The standard Bollinger Band settings are wrong, optimize for the right settings

Tried this strategy, it works strangely well

the only downside I experienced is, the need to constantly monitor the trade hourly... have to close my trade prematurely everytime i got something to do

Tnx for digging up my old strategy. Im glad it works for you. I think you shoul demo trade different currency pairs to see which pairs work better.
I know its hard to monitor trades without an indicator. No one was interested in creating one, I moved on.
