This is drawn correctly because the B point was the lowest on the RSI. The next low of the actual price was a divergence.

For me this is always unclear since A was a dodgy doji. What I tend to do is take the smallest target, that way if it reaches the larger one I am still OK.

New to this thread, I've started reading through from the beginning. Does anyone have any tips, or is there anywhere in the thread where the method as a whole is summarised? I'm finding it hard to synthesise the bits I've picked up on into a complete whole.

The only reason I was here at all is because I wanted to see where the month bar started and the day bar ended and it wasn't midnight UK.

Most of the information you need is in the beginning few pages of this thread after which you will find millions of examples.

We can't get a signal from the 1 hour today because B is on the wrong side of the EMA.

Edit...well we can but price would have to push up high to drag the EMA

The 5 min EMA is too flat, the market has to kick off soon.

would have given massive levels to trade off, but like you say B on the wrong side and this hour candle still would have to close below the ema but there's a M5 bull divergence which i bought

This morning was tricky for me, although its not over yet. Had a hunch we were going down based on bearish div on H4 and M30. Was going to do 3 entries. Caught the top perfectly with the first short entry. Second and third entry short were stopped out for breakeven, I was moving my stops to soon. Entered the second entry again just above the M5 EMA. The third entry was below the EMA. Cashed out as soon as I saw a HD may be about to form on the M5.

Made another entry short on the bearish div on the M5. Cashed out again because of bullish div on M5. In a nervous scalp long atm based on bullish div on M5.

Difficult to trade when there is no obvious trend. That is the trouble with holding patterns, they just hold price to allow the averages to catch up a tad.
