DislikedAlthough the original EA works fine by me, there is a feature that I would strongly suggest to implement. I'm not sure if it's too much to ask either of MJ or other willing coders, but I find the way to change the leverage very slow at times (either by clicking the arrows or dragging the triangles), when speed is needed (speaking intraday trading obviously). A practical way would be to be able to modify the value by keyboard directly by clicking on the number between the 2 arrows. What do you think?Ignored
Disliked{quote} great idea i just can't promise when, you all already know me as a notorious promise breaker (post #1, manual etc still not done) and believe me, i'm not happy because of that! i simply have some real life commitments that i have to fulfill, and won't (can't) promise any exact date here... sorry. should be quite easy to implement via OnEvent(), if someone can do it faster while keeping the code clean, i totally encourage thisIgnored
DislikedIt would be handy if EA could show price for TP and SL lines somehow somewhere while dragging them.Ignored
DislikedHello MaryJane and everybody else! Thank you for sharing with us this outstanding tool, MJ. A splendid piece of engineering. It might need some modifications re scale adaptation though. You can see cropped and piled elements on the screenshot below. I'm using Win10 on a laptop with a 15.6" screen, 1920x1080 resolution. The scale in display settings is set to 125%. This is a default scale after Win10 was installed, this setting was not touched by me, such scale makes system's elements just normal size, nothing is increased or enlarged. 100% scale...Ignored
Disliked{quote} 1) tp/sl values are shown at the left side above the line while dragging it... there's no problem to make the values display in the panel, but i wanted to keep it as simple as possible. 2) i know, scaling problems. i think mt4 didn't scale at the time i made the code, but i might be wrong... i'm always setting 100% even on my 14" laptop with 1920x1080... definitely an issue because most ppl use 125% or even 150% on smaller screens... once in the past i've had a japanese NEC 15" 4:3 laptop which had 2048x1536 resolution and even there...Ignored
Disliked{quote} can't imagine why me stupid didn't include the setting in the code... i'm setting a handful of chart properties in the init... i missed this oneIgnored
Dislikedadding a gift for all indicator junkies ..a meager excuse for post #1 not ready yet this was perhaps my 1st code ever, almost 10 years old, never published you may find it totally stupid at first sight (and yes, you're right!) but... see the number (and drawdown) of bounces across different instruments and timeframes like every ma, it excels in trending market yes, in range market it sucks like every ma, but not always in fact, it's the only indy i'm using from time to time, basically unchanged ...Ignored
Dislikedthen i just want to know how to find the best position for buy or sell?Ignored
DislikedHello everyone First i have to say thanks to MaryJane for this amazing thread. then i just want to know how to find the best position for buy or sell? because if we go wrong with this kind of opening trades maybe we just keep losing big parts in a row.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Find the best position when to buy or sell with your normal trading analysis chart taking the support and resistance into cognizance. When you find it, open a blank chart, drop MJ MarginTrader and click buy or sell as what you would have done with normal mt4 buy/sell but in MarginTrader. It will manage your trades and compound your trades. Set your margins to say 500 plus so you dont get blown out fast.Ignored
