We've got our own problems, particularly with (perceived) rising sealevels. My new house had to be built 1 meter (3'+) higher than my neighbours' existing ones.

Don't get me started on trading hours, only the FOMC is manageable, its 7 am here now.

they are talking about making new houses. To be built on stilts here. Not a traditional ground foundation, built on raised fill. The newer homes are flooding the older ones. Raised on stilt lets the water absorb more.

Markets just care that fed won't raise rates.

So only pause or cut.

Market seems to think that only cuts will be possible.

Summary:

Fed Chair Jay Powell is a little bit hawkish in saying that the current funds rate is likely to remain appropriate. But he's massively dovish in saying that you'd need a "significant move up" inflation before the fed would consider raising rates.

Maybe forget about shorting for now. Price has clearly refused to give 1060. Not useful fighting the price movers.

higher is best to sell. but picking the optimal price is not easy. it's in R now up into 122x.. I would look for weakness on a 5, 15 or 30 min.. month R is at 1194.. too many to name in this area toward 200 ema at 1200. pa is at 1150 atm.. i would look to sell in this 50 pip range.
