It would be handy if EA could show price for TP and SL lines somehow somewhere while dragging them.

EA behavior in trading:
in open trading if you set SL & TP EA will take care of every new trade that is open and automatically put TP & SL you set

Thank you MaryJane for this fun tool. I was playing with it. When I closed all trades, why EA kept opening new trade? Did I miss anything?

Which version are you using?
There is MJ version which does not open trade on its own except you either take the first trade of you have a pending order and there is Tomcat98 version ie Margin trader_V1.63 which opens trade at the cross of the inbuilt line which you are to adjust as per your defined supres. So at a crossover or breakout of the trendline it automatically opens a trade.

This is also a tool for News Trading.
Once you go compound or pyramid trading, you cant go back. So permit me to drop this PZ_PyramidEA since its the same concept with your wonderful tool and your followers may find it helpful especially those that will like to trade multiple pairs as the EA manages each pair chart differently based on pip gained. Once a trade is opened, drop it on the very chart and define in your settings how many trades, how many pips away, same size or reduced lot, etc. It recognizes if the trade is buy or sell automatically.

Although the original EA works fine by me, there is a feature that I would strongly suggest to implement. I'm not sure if it's too much to ask either of MJ or other willing coders, but I find the way to change the leverage very slow at times (either by clicking the arrows or dragging the triangles), when speed is needed (speaking intraday trading obviously). A practical way would be to be able to modify the value by keyboard directly by clicking on the number between the 2 arrows. What do you think?

I know, I second that. I'll have to say it again: this EA can lead to stellar results if used with some salt. I'm still trying it on demo, strongly tempted, by my impressive results, to go live but I'm still waiting as I've been trading it beside my live account and sometimes I forget about it. Although I will be using small accounts to start with, it will still need my full attention so I will definitely need to take some time off my main trading (which I don't seem to bring myself to do yet. Enjoying it too much LOL).

wow, that was just a stupid trade!!!!
started with some 1000 €... at worst point, i was at 313 balance / 150 equity or so
i saw the fall coming, got a zone which was hit exactly yesterday @fomc.... but was too stupid and impatient to enter early.
recovered in the end and made some $$, BUT i would have been definitely much better off if i only adhered to my own RULES!!!

but... end good == all good at least for now

btw: exited manually just below 108.25.... it's a demand zone, and some crank from bloomberg can come up with some corrected china news anytime ..and i just wanted to have the miserable trade behind me.
my original tp was just above 108.00... now i'll just watch if it goes there.... won't touch the charts today!
back to ordinary work again
