added istesting() to enable ignoring the global variable istrading....

this allows for visual back testing dreams while running ea live.....

need to study the impact of global variables being stored while back testing...... perhaps global variable delete prefix on denit of testing.....

visual backtesting might help better understand maryjane's ea.......

for sure, understand, this ea is not one like your momma used to bake...... know it going in.....h

when does this EA adds the trades ,when the previous trade is in loss or profit?

what does average entry green arrow signifies?

see treding example
EA enter next trade with "Add automatically" checked as soon as your "margin level" is above "margin limit"
example on 500$ acc. 1:500

nzd/jpy manual click buy on margin 650% is 0.61 market go up by 2 pip next buy 0.05 market is going down no new entry until
I changed Margin to 500% next buy 0.04
no new entry until
I changed Margin to 430% next buy 0.04

hey t4t...... it should only add trades while the existing trades are positive...... that's a good thing...... there is no averaging down, only adding to winners.....

many, me included, fight the urge to add to losing trades......h

it's excellent ea, easy to setup s/l and t/p.
I use 1 min chart to setup s/l, than move to higher time frame eg. 15 min to setup t/p.

assuming you do not adjust settings after startup, the exact time it enters new trades is determined by your margin limit value.......

for example, say your margin limit is set at 500, your next trade entry will be when margin level is twice that, 1000% ......

if your margin limit is 200, your next trade will be when your margin level is at 400%.......

once the new trade is placed, obviously your margin level % is reduced accordingly.......

once your margin level has again risen to the required level, a new trade is placed......h

cool,i am a big fan of martingale strategy,i use it for trade management instead of stop loss.

I always wanted and I requested coders to create an EA that adds to winning trades,but I never got any response.So I am very happy if this EA works out for me.

Hayseed,

just curious because I know you have numerous home brew indy’s In your arsenal... do you have one that can color code bars based on RSI level?

put in other words, if you had a reference RSI level (say 4H for example), if your on a smaller tf, the bars on say the M30 would appear red if under the 30 RSI on the H4 chart? Ideally to be tick by tick, not waiting for the current H4 bar to close?

Preferably the RSI levels would be editable, buyback i think I have stumbled on something that would greatly benefit the use of this EA.

Just curious!

in short, the idea behind the candle coloring is simply to put blinders on, so that way you don’t fool around until everything (in this case, this one aspect of the trend) is in your favor.

A hint of what im talking about... go to H4 chart, and draw a box around every candle that is above 55RSI and stop the box when it goes back below 55RSI... same thing short with 45...

then go go to the 15Min chart and look at the same box... I’m still researching, but more often than not, within that box on M15 you haven about the prettiest trend you could ask for...

it's as aggressive as you set it... you must start with bigger margin limit (at least 500% w/1:500 leverage intraday) to allow some whipsaw
with 100% margin limit you're dead almost instantly

i did quit the foolish market entry on uj long... dead volatility... calm before the (short) storm? - look at gold
however, am hesitant to short it outright now... don't like the top
perhaps i will leave this gameplay to next week... thu & fri daily targets not fulfilled...

Test
So far only open 1 trade... (Click the Sell Button) and Sell from 0.55 Lot (0.55 lot available)...
SL and TP input from the EA...
Margin set at 350%... Starting Acc 500 USD (Lev 1:500)...

After 5 or 10 minutes
EA open one more trade 0.05 lot
SL been reduce to 77 pips from 79
TP stay the same...

current margin level 244%

change margin limit to 270% when or if price go up my margin level will increase to 270% and EA should enter new trade

Just trying to add a bit of value here. As we have said, MT is a bit of a wildcard... If only we had a way to single out the most opportune times to utilize it... I did mention that its possible that searching for breaks of certain RSI can help move a trader toward the better times in the market (to each his own on any given indicator)...

Just out of boredom, went ahead and looked up G/U. Boxed around RSI breaks above or below 55/45
