I could not follow your description. Sorry about that. IQ is just 69.

My idea is when you have a buy signal, you offset it with 30 pips, lets say. With a pending buy stop order. If it is triggers, it triggers. Lets say, the buys stop could not make it. Then a sell signal just pooped out. Now, the already old Buy Stop pending order needs to be deleted immediately. This is what I have meant when I have said OCO (One Cancels the Other). The next buy signal will cancel the last Sell Stop pending order, ext, ext, ext.

The window for triggering an offseted stop pending order is only between two opposite signals. When the next opposite signal hits the chart, the last offset stop order has to go away and get replaced by the newest (and opposite) stop order, right?

Is this how it works?

Sorry for the too many words. Brain is slow. Very old model, plus, probably damaged...

Yes.

I've added only one feature.
For CloseAtOppositeSignal at false (default value) position will be closed by the new opposite position. Otherwise by the new opposite signal.

Good idea to filter the small swings.
Just to clarify, two questions:
1. Do you mean pips or points?

2. "buy signal, you offset it with 30 pips" is that offset PLUS 30 pips/points or MINUS 30 pips/points for a buy?

When do you sleep?
Seems like you are working around the clock.

After testing for a few days I was going to ask about implementing "close & open on opposite signal."
Today, I wake up, open my PC and, like Christmas morning, the new feature is sitting waiting for me.

Trading with just one indicator. Clear entries and exits.

EU H1 and H4 with JFFrama Ribbon and new settings.
Look at the run on H4 - beautiful. Only problem is you need to have the EA running at the start of the signal.

Please read what I'm writing. Delete current XML config. It isn't valid. You can see it from log.
Put a clear copy of XML config. Download it again for example. Only edit symbol name as I stated above. I think you need to add a "m" suffix. That's all.

Simply read log: You can clearly see that you have default symbol name EURUSD in your configuration. Anyway your symbol name is EURUSDm.

1. Meaning pips only. Never worked with points.

2. I understood this to be a stop strategy. So the buys offset should go above and the sells offset should go below, I guess.

Now that you have filtered at least 50% of the fake and false signals, it is only money management. And how exactly do you count the net pips or profits. I use dollar(s) per a basket. The lesser the draw-down is when the dollar target is smaller. Like 1 usd on an entry. For example. But profits are not impressive as well. And one cant probably get rich for a life time. But you can and will impress those hedge funds managers with your insanely low draw-down. And id making just 10-20% a year is fine with you... Rhen, here you go! 1 usd net per entry on 0.01 lots is your target!

If you want to impress your wallet, think about hitting the pair traded, very hard, on the annual trend. Little number of entries. Do not hold open positions on a draw-down. Use SL. Reopen as many time as necessary. It is all just money management.

None of the brokers and bankers will expect of you holding it for the annual trend... You will impress not only your own wallet, but your wife or gf. Whatever. Including the broker and the banker. They will hate you, probably. For holding it for the whole trend...

Can you make a business plan and make it happen?

Trading the annual trend is pure business. You make a plan. You follow it. Repeat it next year. And the year after. And the year after....

Fuck day trading. By the time you learn it, you will leave forex. And have missed a shitload of money on the annual trend. Flip it. So the easy annual trend first. Then in some 15-20 years, you could possibly learn to day trade?!?

Hi Joe,
When you have the time, please look at this.
EURUSD is trading fine H1, H4, both regular and with ADDing, and H1 ver. B reversals.
GBPUSD isn't making any trades H1 or H4, regular or with ADDing.
GU_H1 Settings, Log file and XML for H1 below.
Also, for all pairs & time frames, gettting a lot of "initialized" then "uninit, reason 5" every few seconds.
