Interesting EA , I will try to do my backtest and realtime demo test also.
About trailing stop code , you could check these auto/hidden/trailing sl , tp here > https://www.mql5.com/en/code/11649
and update into your EA to make more profit(or less )
Could anyone share most successful set file for this EA ?

Thanks. This curve is smoother than the previous. What is stagnation period? A period when the EA does'nt take any trade? Also, i guess you used the default settings of the ea to do your backtest, without stop loss or take profit?
Ignored
Stagnation period is where trades are floating. By 92% time in trade thats the only possibility. I did the test without SL and TP.

{quote} Threshold for trades: 50000/Your Account Size=x 8/x=Max Lot Size (Not actually max, but Max enough In case of 1000$ this would be 0.16 Lots. Lets say thats almost max Lot Size, actually you get 30-40% DD. Now half or quarter that 0.16. I just woudn't overdo it like you can with any EA.

Doesn't it matter if the lever is 1:30 or 1: 300?

interesting EA ..
can work with 2% risk per trade and max open positions ?
and if will opens 2 trades to same currency splitt 1 % per order..
example USDEUR long , USDGPB long so 1% in each trade = both 2%
no over exposure more than 2% per currency , someone else can change the % to 3 or 5%

can also auto config SL , TP and trailing with ATR ?
example 2* ATR SL , 3* ATR TP and trailing 1*ATR
Everything flows. Learn to Earn.

See your point. I will have a look into it. Well, the best way for using that EA till now, is to close trades manually^^ Because you can time things the best or appropriate way, if you have discipline.

When a new round begins, it checks whether those conditions are fullfilled at the beginning of the day (look at Post#1) or when those conditions are fullfilled later on, starts a ot buy/sell. Closing is when conditions are fullfilled (Post#1) or at end of the week. Thats v2. v3 has an atr exit, which follows a trend change on the given tf.

Worth to refine/add something?

Sharing experience with expert advisor reel_SteadyGone v2 Under standard parameters the EA makes 120% in H1 EURUSD since 01/01/2018 till today in MT4. The Max Drawdown was 30%. A bit high, maybe you can fit a .set file Just adjust an apropriate Lot Volume. In the picture below it starts from 01/22/2018 till today and was done with M30 EURUSD. With smaller balance you of course get a smaller profit. Rule of Thumb with scaling here is that max. profit is with 50.000$ and 8 Lots by 30% DD. The less lots the more would the account survive. Reeler,

The trading rules are;

"As buy and sell signal for the EA are a Keltner Channel (KC) and Money Flow Index (MFI). When the chart touches the lower band of the KC while the MFI is still falling and in the opposite direction, the signal is sent. The trade is open till the RSI Oscillator changes direction or it's friday and trades need to end."

Could you please post a picture of an example illustrating the rules, so i can better understand.

Thank you

As requested a screenshot of v5. The Indicators are set default or the extreme under 1:100 that i posted and so on.
Here the keltner is way below the charts, so it is on the sell side. It sells when the chart oversteps the upper band and the other way round.
The MFI has an interesting behauvior. You can plot regressions on every 2 Hour so step, so to say (In this example, which is based on H1). When regressions are running together at a certain spot in the charts (Or better to say, more regressions fit to one place). then it buy/ or in this example sells according to previous behavior.

Add: The previous behavoir ist controlled by setting a regression line on the overall bottoms and tops.

Add: The exit is controlled by simple sl/tp in the example.

Add: The Keltner channel has to be because basically i cannot seperate buy/sell signal at MFI. Then it doesnt really work out or with tremendous processing power due to making some kind of multiple 2D classification plots based on the tf.

So the important part ist to fit the keltner channel. Or name alternative.

Greetings reel

" When the chart touches the lower band of the KC while the MFI is still falling and in the opposite direction,"

Price is touching the bottom channel- what is the behavior we have to watch out for in MFI? Should MFI be also going down and when you say opposite direction-do you mean it also above 50 line for Buy?

Also, if you can upload the set of indicators and template that will be great as everyone can look at the same charts and settings.

And Good Luck with your Ph.D...

Thanks

It's the simple Keltner and MFI that i posted below. I think many of you will have it. Thank you!
It's not middle line dependent. The fit from the keltner is here important.

From the above Situation, you could just turn the trades opposite. I think there was a EA that was designed just for that purpose. Then you would have those trades positive under this setting.

There is a difference on the leverage and the rest could be your indicator settings. Try default ones given by SteadyGone_v5 supposing your indicators take the same values. Your results would interest me.

Four hours for this indicators/EA at large periods is pretty much nothing. It could be that the EA doesn't take a trade for a week. But when it does, it is effective.
