In my test the EA does not always react at exactly the same time. Sometimes it is 4 seconds, sometimes 20 seconds after the time setting in the EA. Is there a reason for this?

Either check your internet speed or your broker latency.

Hello dmjoguns, With latest ea getting an error as follows: OrderSend failed with error: Server: Invalid Stops (130). I even tried making the stoploss 600 which is way bigger than I would ever use but still get error. Tried with trailing stop set to Ture and then to False.

The reason for the ordersend is invalid stop. It means setting your trade below the minimum level required. This atop level is different for each pair

Check the pips for:
. SL
.TP
.pips distance

For non ECN brokers, there is a stop level which signify the minimum distance to set some parameters.

When there is low volatility, spread can increase astronomically.

Is there a way i can get an EA to open a trade in opposite direction with user-specified preset SL and TP (and at double lot size of first trade) if the first trade ends up in a loss? and continue to do that until the trade wins then it resets?

Thanks dmjoguns. Spread was 6 pips and I had it set to 15, then 20, 100 etc. Still got the error. I will try tomorrow (08 Oct) again and see if it works

I need an EA buit . Trades based on closes above or below H4 to monthly candles. As should look back upto 10 highs and lows and trade triggered based on the first candle from a lower time frame to close above or below a level.
Close below a high sell . Close above a low buy.
