eur a similar set up as gold ,, altho on completely opposite end of spectrum long term ,, a pattern , off of fresh 2 year lows at the end of a quarter and start of last quarter of year ,, , a projection tht hasent quite been hit ,, but wp and weekly average price has been,,, better sup below if it is to provide any after some some long term lows wiped

you guys if you look at some kind of scalping system I suggest Bob Volman first book, he trades the 70 tick which is similar to the 30second time frame...but he does not shoot from the hips....he is carefully patient.....

No offence bud ,, tic charts all depend on the action ,,, a 30 tic chart can be any time period ,, a 30 tic chart in the eur will not look the same as a 30 tic chart in the gbp ,, those do depend on the instrument traded and the volume ,, probably carefully waits for a sup or res line ,,, if ya do it dont matter what ya use really ,,not taking awy from him or what you posted ,,,it works for him,,, great ,, it wont for many unless they practice with it they are a whole different ball of wax to trade the same thing,, they just remove time from the equation,,,,edit or 70 tic ,,dont matter much

Pretty much into 3 ,,to five minute range ,, still comes down to same ole shit no matter what time frame under a daily ,,70 tic and 3 min .

my bad ,, 2 3 minute charts do not make a 70 tic ,, however a 3 to five min will be similar to a 70 tic ,,,, which is posted below ,, feeeuuuckkk tired,,, lol

sorry Dig, I am not sure what you going about..... a 70 tick chart it is not a time frame in the usual sense, a new bar is formed after 70 transactions (ticks) that takes among traders -regardless of volume, sometime this resembles a 30second chart, but when volumes picks up, it takes a life of its own...

Furthermore The actual tick count is depending on the data feed connected to the chart.

For this sort a trading is suggested to use a professional charting package, but in my view you do not need to trade this theory only on the tick chart , price action is price action and can be traslate in any time frame or tick charts.

yep sure is ,,, means its about the same as a a 3 to 5 min chart in the eur ,with tht data provider ,, different data provider it will be different again , in a different pair it will be something different ,, the eurusd is the most heavily traded and most liquid on the planet ,, look above ,, 1st post was screwed up ,,, it had 2 3 minute charts in it ,, 2nd one is the 70 tic ,, you just made the point ,,, I just said one would need to practice a bit with what they would be using ,, becuase it will be different than what he is using ,, dont matter what it is,,, it comes down to a level and the powers tht be tht move this shit , and when they decide to move it and which way they want it to go ,,,, anything below a daily chart is working with the levels the daily gives one to work with nothing more nothing less

and thts the other thing ,,every damn broker one trades with will have a different tic count in a certain amout of time ,, if a professorial data feed is different than the broker one uses it will still be a bit off ,,,, and there is a huge difference in what one uses for a " professional" data feed even between the biggies,, so yes no " professional" data feed required ,, lows and highs and mid point are all the same tho doesent matter what the hell one uses

No, is not the same as the 3 or 5 minutes, it resembles the 30second chart (30 second chart is half the 1m chart), but it is not exactly the same because is not based on time but on transactions, in time of high volatility a bar is completed quickly which also give more informations especially in this type of trading.

When you trade on those speed it is not suggested you trade with your broker data because they are not reliable but you need to trade with a professional charting package.

I suggest you do some research on the subject, then you will know better.

I see many traders on those forum trying to scalp but only end up with frustration, wast of time and money (despite the initial enthusiasm), this idea of levels in my view is just BS.

Scalping is not easy, needs a lot of focus and discipline but can be done, Bob in his book explains in clear details when to enter and when to exit (and when to stay out) in 7 clear set ups, the book is full of gem about what price action is all about and what it is going on in terms of tug of war in between the parts. Will anyone become successfully after reading the book? No way, because you need to apply yourself to it but in term of scalping I have nor read a better book.

research ,,been there done tht ,, dont need it ,,,, same size chart ,, same as bout m3 with tht data provider ,, picture dont lie ,, different data provider it will be different ,, the more one pays the faster it goes ,, lol,, and no ones broker will not be close

Dig, we are going around in circle, I have already mentioned to you it all depends on the data feed.......I am talking about HIS 70 tick chart which resemble the 30 second chart because I am talking about his system, I am not talking about YOUR 70 tick chart.

I do not understand why you are getting so defensive and trying to underestimate a method wich you know very little about.

Am I not allowed to make a suggestion on what I think it is a decent scalping system? Do we must only talk about levels on this thread?

am I not allowed to say some who try will need to see wht they use does ,,, tht was the only point ,, so they read wht you posted then try it and fail miserably becuase wht they have or are using is way the fuck different ,, whats tht make one look like ,,,,, wasent defensive ,,wasent anything ,,,was saying err a bit on the side of caution

Done the fucking research ,, did the trading ,, payed hundreds of dollars a month for data feeds tried different data feeda tht all cost a shit load a month ,,, so yes the more you pay for shit the faster it goes lol
