hi guys i'm new here.
i've been tested this BTM strategy on my demo account with good result.
now running on my real account.
i'm using the btm dash on m vps as signal provider, then check the chart and enter the trade manually.
perfect signal for today was chfjpy, nice 54pips for me.

I see your trade explorer is minus with this strategy, but others are getting profit. What did you do wrong. Im interested for backtest-ing it

i mean we are only 2 days into the month, if you checked the last 4 weeks performance i was like 800 pips positive with the first week being minus 200.

i'm following the rules set out by BTM, unfortunately I've missed 4 great trades this week which would have put me positive but i have other business commitments other than my trading to attend to.

If you have read this thread you will also find out back testing is pointless as the trend indi moves with price so where you think there is a trade really there might not have been. only way is to forward test.

so you implicitly said, this indicator is already in good ways, and we only need the final step for the development which means expert advisor from this indice?

It’s often heard that "... i'm following the rules set out by BTM...".
But BTM's tips (except for the direction of the trend and the presence of an arrow) is too verbal to be converted to program code.
I suspect that everyone in his own way understands the tips set out on page 1.

Someone even came up with a rule for TP1 to be within the trend channel. Then the trade entry can be considered justified.

Considering that stop-loss can be set in 3 ways [ SL1 or SL2 or (SL1 + SL2)/2 (that is, in the middle between SL1 and SL2) ], then writing an adviser is even more difficult.

If everyone wanted to set out in their own words what conditions, besides the presence of a trend and an arrow, he\she checks before opening a position, this would greatly bring the possibility of writing EA.

You're over thinking here. You don't need to wait for "everyone" to give input until you can code the EA. Just select ANY rules, tips, whatever you want and code them. That's all you need. If YOUR choice happens to produce an EA with acceptable performance for YOU, then you can be done. If the performance is not acceptable to you, then either make changes, or simply abandon it.
