DislikedHi robots4me.i have error 130 on my ecn account as I posted earlier.do you think I have to change my broker or it can be solved? Thanks.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi R4M & BD, A big THANK YOU for sharing your work. Thinking about the restrictions on US retail traders, there may be a way to adapt. H1 time frame. I tried changing BDX All PairsEA ver 19262 to: Max Trades = 1; Larger Lot Size = 1; (equivalent to 10 x small lots) Lower StopLoss Fraction = 0.20; Lower TakeProfit = 0.12 I'm still adjusting the SL to make the DD smaller. Here are some of the results for yesterday & today. The highlighted trade is from a different EA, NOT from BDX AllPairs EA. So far, it looks like perfection. While I was...Ignored

Disliked{quote} @12mohana -- if the error is caused by your broker not allowing a SL / TP to be registered with the order then 'yes', the EA won't work with this broker. Why not experiment a bit with manual trading to check whether you can open an order that includes both a SL / TP to make sure that is the problem.Ignored
Disliked{quote} hi @robots4me, at first thank you for the incredible effort about the error 130 as far as i know, it's not a specific broker problem. An intrinsic feature of ecn accounts (in any broker) is that you will not be able to set a StopLoss and/or TakeProfit with your Market Order (BUY or SELL). If you try to do this, you will get Error 130. of course, you need to set a StopLoss (and maybe TakeProfit) for your order, and this must be done as soon as possible after the order has been executed. you need to send a request to execute a market order...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Thank you robots4me. As you said I tried manual. In ecn I can't do that but in standard account at my broker it is possible to send both order and set tp/sl. I think it is ecn that cause this problem. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} @tuxTrader, @AltosTrader -- thanks for the background information. @12mohana -- thanks for confirming. So -- the solution is to use a standard account. I'm only interested in automating strategies and not inclined to delve into the details of ECN vs standard accounts. I'm not interested in coding it, debugging it, testing it, bug-fixing it. Every broker will have its own set of idiosyncrasies and I just don't want to get into that aspect of automating EAs. I have several trading accounts -- there's no law against having multiple accounts...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi timidave, Now trying approximately 1:1 R/R with SL at 0.15 and TP at 0.12 and 0.15. Also found not to allow live trading during Asia sessions on Sunday night.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hello Northwind, how has this method performed lately? Just about to try itIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi timidave, SL 0.3; TP 0.10 or 0.12. If I'm around I manually move SL to profit on profitable trades. There are two of every trade because I have same configuration BDX AllPairs EA running on two machines in the same account. Removed CHF pairs. Your results may vary. Results so far for today, 10/03: {image}Ignored

Disliked{quote} @Northwind - thanks for the update. Looking good. I've had v.19243 running 24/7 since the end of August. I've done detailed statements most days, albeit I was away for a week so there is a gap. If anyone is interested I'll ZIP them over when I get a chance. It may be irreverent now considering the vast improvements made since then. The main thing to answer here is YES, it made a decent profit even though there was a bad period caused by Brexit. Thanks again R4M and bishop for the continued work.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi tophat4d, Thank you for your comments. Yes, all credit goes the R4M and BD for their work and generous contributions. Brexit is playing hell with everything. Removing CHF pairs seems to make a difference as well.Ignored
