I know the system does not look at other charts, but here is GBPUSD H1. You should consider the area in the box as a consolidation zone. Until price gets out of that zone with commitment by either buyers or sellers, you will have difficulties with GBPJPY trades.

My bias is for price to go up when it breaks out. But this is Forex--ANYTHING can happen.

I think your enthusiasm is a bit overdone. AUDCAD is overdue to go up. It most likely will go down some more when it gets out of the sideways channel on M5, but I don't expect anything spectacular.

But this is Forex. Anything can happen, and we must have an action plan for whichever direction it heads.

Nice. However, I am skeptical that price will go that far; maybe half that.

I am short.

Thing is that steps are generated because it's 24period(my guess) TRI_Ma that is calculated on 4H data.
I personally use TMA+CG by mladen 24 period on 240 timeframe , price =6 (weighted), as a result there are no steps.

I was thinking about adding different colors when it goes up/down, but its too much coding.
