I'm technical trader my trading based on chart as the reflection of the condition in the market ... the only concern for me are NFP news and rate decision news ... so I dont follow closely with what happen between USA and China ....

anyway maybe you are right Malcolmb .... it could be that the smart money will bring the price down as we see on daily chart that the up movement has basically no strong base ... but now is the interesting question? where or in which area will the smart money bring the price down ... please take a look at lower time frame than daily chart to get more detail bars (H4 chart) .... the base of the down movement on H4 is weak ... if the smart money really want to bring it down then we will see buying climatic action cross above the weak base of the down movement then we will see a pattern of trend reversal .... maybe ...

On attached charts is the prediction of the movement for the next days and my observation on volume bars that I believe support my prediction ....
... but I could be wrong.

Dow moved more on Thursday and Friday due to trade comments than any NFp of fomc days

remember the ecb rates day when market was up and down hundreds of points like a yoyo ?that had zero to do with ecb rates ... That's was Bloomberg saying trump had said interim deal and then trump coming out saying he denied saying that .

So if we look at fomc only .... they got rate cuts and fed willing to do more rate cuts so why has Dow not gone into outer space and broke to new highs ?????

becauss they are busy using bullshit news to drop it quickly to buy buy buy so that when interim deal is struck in two week Us indexes go to moon ... which will drop gold sub 1460 ...

Turns out that the farm visit cancellation that dropped marlets 200 points on Friday was only scheduled on Thursday and there was scheulding conflict 😂

Letz see how Monday goes but this could be a good example of how markets really work .. by manipulation

I wanted to go back to this post .. this was the day gold went up based on a cancelled fram visit and Dow dropped 200

since thay day gold has dropped almost $70

do not believe all you see or hear on news . Look for trends to the opposite of what the news is saying .
