Yeah thats why i am saying its more or less in line with where i may consider shorting, because i will trail it, im not entirely fussy about the Tp bud, but that handle deos seem like the first initial target, there are some intra day levels before that as we go along so we will take it as it goes.....

Trying to push through the 1505 handle first - will close out 1/2 of remaining positions - then look for the 1508 level to exit completely. So, looking at short positions from there guys?

just now went short with gold 1505.3 tp: 1502 or less, sl: open now but will intervene............. Already daily tp target hit...

Gold still seem to be a winner in all this... Went down some, to make some opportunity for buyers (of physical also) but went up again which is impressive. Still think it has massive room for up... Some countries are piling it up like crazy.. and they want to hide this as much as possible... to get as much tons! as possible before it gets too noticeable what they are doing and spiking the prices up

Also don't forget to watch the FED's party tomorrow (rate talk).. The more they might (imply) a f.up... the better for gold: ) Even if it is just perceived as such...
Can you afford to take that chance?

It's been playing well from a technical point if view, just interns of patterns. Curiously waiting to see us break out if this range now....either way...

Anybody else seeing how much better silver looks on an hourly chart than gold?

These are the futures contracts but spot looks the same.

Right after I posted that, low and behold... Gold and silver take opposite directions. Gold spiked higher and Silver dropped. Right now they are all over the place after the SHFE open.

The sideways nature of things/ range that we have been trading in is showing in the Longer timeframes as there isnt much clarity on the intra day trend.

We have a big FOMC meeting coming up. The market is split on whether the Fed cuts rates based on the CME FedWatch Tool. I say they cut rates no doubt.

XAUUSD price action is making strong attempts to break down the 1480 horizontal support; a breakdown of which will expose the market to a southward drive.
