sell EURGBP, first signal today signal not near bottom trend indicator, tp1 is at bottom trend indicator, we are in strong downtrend. Are all rules right? Do you have this trade ? {image}

not in this trade as tp1 and tp2 must be inside the band

I was in, closed manually for +5 pips per position as the pair is at a support. Will look for re-entry if broken.

{quote} Help me with what? If you're referring to the popup alert and going to the chart thru the dashboard and not finding an arrow on the chart, then why was an alert sent suggesting to Buy/Sell in the first place? Shouldn't the alert wait for the arrow to be set so that it's not appearing and disappearing? I also have 2 or 3 other issues going on. I like the system ... don't think I'm knocking BTM. I appreciate the work he's put into this and giving it to the rest of us free of charge. My issue is trading the M15 timeframe. I think the most unhealthy...

im pretty sure you didn't read all posts. i told that like 100 times .
you have two alert : 1- comes from indicators on charts 2- comes from dashboard

explain 1 : signal indicator is calculating candle by candle, when a candle is not closed yet, it may pass the terms of signal indicator,so you may got alert for buy or sell, but candle is not closed yet,and it may move back and false the terms.when you got alert , go to that chart, wait candle closed,if an arrow was there, its ok.

explain 2 : dashboard will give you alert when all rules of post #1 passed . so if trend indicator is bullish + signal arrow buy , then you will get alert .

He meant that the signal indicator calculates on every TICK. Therefore, until the candle is closed, each new tick can change the signal, which can result in an alert. This is only an ALERT--an alarm to tell you, "Go look at the chart.
The current candle that is not closed has a POSSIBILITY of getting a trade arrow on it WHEN IT CLOSES." So you can start to prepare to place an order IF THE ARROW IS THERE WHEN THE CANDLE FINALLY CLOSES.

Anyone please suggest me the best thing to do in this scenario in the attached image EURGBP we got a clear sell signal and then after 3 candles we got another buy signal not a clear one as the bands are clearly showing downtrend shall we wait for SL or exit the first sell position ?

Did price reach either your SL or TP? No? Then you should know the answer.

I think we need just following BTM's rules, he don't say we must stop as we have opposite signal.

I will do a little speculation here: Maybe you did not read all of the posts and take notes before installing it?

I am testing the Dashboard Auto Trade System. Question, does it actually take care of the trend direction (lower/upper bands steps) or just "blindly" placing trades as soon as there is a arrow signal coming up?

Not sure why it took EU Sell here instead the BUY signal.

That trade is a buy not a sell??

the dashboard saw the bands was trending up along with other confirmations so set a buy.

I would put SL at R2, not R1. It's too short ...

I'm using the auto trade mode with some success, but only during london session. The only thing that is lousy is all trades have the same lot size!
This is bad considering some trades have 30 pip sl while others have 60 sl!!!! This is not good money management!
The dashboard EA needs to have a lot by percentage of your account balance, not just fixed lots! Fixed lots are bad for auto trading.

{quote} Do you know how does this market works? Do you know why EURUSD goes up or down? almost 60% of market moves is based on fundamental events. 40% is based on supply-demand which decided by fundamental situation .and with technical tools and reules we converted this moves in the chart and put math on them to find some logic in there.thats why technical is not 100% . when you see there is no events or news on eco calendar, how do you expect market moves? when there is no fundamental events, its mean there is no power to moves your technical.

Well. If its important to act only on signals with your method IF there are important news for the day you want to place a trade, why isn`t that described as a rule on post #1 ? I heard about that for the first time now because i stumbled upon that quote by you a 100 pages later...

So what are you saying is basically that you donīt take any signals with your BTM method before looking at fundamentals right? How do you manage it? So you make a trade plan by the end of each week and create a skip list of pairs which are not involved into a lot of upcoming news or how can i imagine that?

Yes, you are right price is not moving because of some technical indicators. But taking care of technicals PLUS any other further impacts like fundamental reasons why or why not to take a signal is a lot more complex don' t you think? Nothing more with complexity but than i would expect not only telling half of the success story if this is not going to happen without such more complex skills.

So for me as a trader who would like to follow your "technical" method it would be only important to know if the outcome for taking X signals after X years would be still positive in the end even without taking care of such "fundamental" aspects.

So what now, does it mean you canīt trust the BTM signals to hit these TP levels on average without taking care of news? Have you ever back-tested past signals with regard to what news were around every time of such signal was produced for lets they the last 24 monthes so that you can say for sure

A) Yes this method will produce positive results without taking care of other impacts than technicals...
B) No this method would probably not work because in 51% of the case TP levels would not be reached...

Is there a setting on the dashboard to let it only place trades through specific trading times? I noticed the list of forex pairs you can create but not that. So you still activate/deactivate every time before/after london session by own hand?

How long did you test this auto trading feature for now? You trade everything by default of left out some forex pairs?
