In this thread we would like to give a brief introduction as to who ANG Capital, break down some of our services and maybe help individuals become profitable. We have been in the financial markets for a while now, almost 5 years and over 20 years collectively, but have been in the retail space for not so long. As we are fairly new, we would like to better understand the retail space and what we can do to help the retail space. We have seen the numbers and we thought we might step in and try rewrite history. 97% of retail traders are failing and this shouldn't be the case! They say smart money needs dumb money to exist. What if i told you we are smart money, short term and long term? What if i told you we fly under the radar and follow smart money? What if i told you majority of our team is pretty much well known in the industry and have been seen on tv and so on. You see we could talk about that and we could go into detail, but we would rather like to show you a few other things and try stay away from what majority of retail traders and Charlestons try and achieve.
So why do we care?
Everyone has pretty much realized that pensions have failed - So why pensions? In today's world, people are starting to realize that waking up early rushing to get to the job they pretty much hate, working for a boss who never really appreciates them nor really cares about their employees. Working hard to make someone else rich while you sit at home worried about how you going to pay your bills! At the end off it all you sitting with a useless pension that can't help nor provide for your loved ones let alone yourself. So a lot of people try and find independence in the financial markets and speculate in order to make some kind of profit.
The global industry and the narrative - An entire industry and narrative has been created to cater ''The desperate middle class fool'' who hasn't put enough money away or has been fooled by the system. These narratives are built around offering so called solutions to help you.
Doing everything yourself indeed is noble - The idea of how to do everything in trading and portfolio management yourself is indeed a noble one. However the retail trader landscape is fraught with conflicts of interests and danger.
The campaign here at ANG Capital - We would like to first educate people (Retail Traders) about the conflicts of interest and the dangers that exist in the world of trading and portfolio management.
we also cater for the busy individual - ANG Capital has a pretty new telegram channel that sends out signals to the individuals who just want to know when, where and what to trade. The telegram is here for everyone to see. We have entries and exits on the free group to show everyone exactly our accuracy. Heres the link if anyone wants to see and a few screen shots to follow in this thread. Telegram Link (https://t.me/angcapitalfreeprofile1)
Be careful
- Majority of retail traders will never figure this out because they have no understanding of trading and portfolio management industry from the inside.
- When they figure it out, sometimes it's pointless.
- First thing you do when entering any kind of business/ industry you should do an industry appraisal. Who are the winners? Who are the losers? How is the industry setup? What parameters can i operate in? How to be successful? What mistakes should i avoid?
- Doing the mention above is one of the most smartest things you will ever have to do when you want to become a successful and you should do this in any industry that you go into. Why not do it in trading? This should be one of the first things you do.
- Major trends in the last 30 years have important implications for retail traders globally .
- How is the market setup? The monopoly/ duopoly.
- Monopolies have pricing power and control!
- They can control how the market is setup and manipulate parameters.
The financial markets and volatility
Volatility in the four major Financial Asset Classes (Equities, Currencies, Commodities and Rates) have been crushed since the financial crisis.
This is due to THREE major main factors.
- MONETARY POLICY - The financial crisis itself has caused reactionary monetary program's from central banks (LOW RATES SND QE) That naturally suppress volatility through relative yield, backstop insurance and inflation fears of not owning assets.
- TECHNOLOGY -Retailers cannot rely on scalping/ day trading in the hopes of making a quick and easy good Benjamin's on electronically driven exchanges. Tech has taken over and will always beat the human over the short term horizons. THE RACE TO ZERO
- Participation - More participants = More Liquidity = Less volatility = Less opportunity to make a quick buck.
ANG CAPITAL Traders have learned how to trade all asset classes across multiple time horizons in order to increase opportunities by capturing volatility and returns.
Retailers need to adapt and start implementing the way Professional traders/ Hedge fund managers trade.
Never trade one asset class and over one time frame
Lets look at retail traders and ANG Capital traders Approach, Risk, Return and their outcome.
ANG Approach - Systematic 1 - 3 Months Portfolio
Popularized media perception of investment Banks and Hedge fund managers differs from reality. Pro traders 80% fundamental and 20% technical.
Retail Approach - Directional day trading
Majority of retail traders believe trading is about short term time frames confusing market making with pro portfolio management.
ANG Risk - Diversity and risk management
Investment Banks Prop 'trades 10 - 20 positions (5% - 10% sizes) HF managers 20+ positions (1% 5% sizes) 12% portfolio vol / 15% return.
Retail Risk - Concentrated Risk
Typical retail account has long GBP/USD, Short S&P-500 and long their ''favorite cheap stock'' (Portfolio down 50%) Never rallies and it ends up in their pension.
ANG Return - Long term consistency
Pro' traders / HF managers job is to trade from now till retirement. They are hired on a mandate. Market out performance irrelevant contrary to mainstream media.
Retail Return - Short term binary
Always trying to make big moves and big money from individual catalysts i.e Non-farm payrolls. Retail is reactionary. Pro traders predict months before and use their liquidity to get out.
ANG outcome - Capital preservation / growth
Retail outcome - Capital destruction
*We must install risk adjusted returns*
ANG Capital - Realistic expectations and targets focusing on a get rich slowly idea with targets met.
Retail traders - Unrealistic high expectations with a stay poor outcome, with a get rich quick expectation.
The facts
The vast majority of retail traders will lose their entire deposited margin within 3 - 4 months.
Typical brokers will spend 30% - 50% of commission/spread revenue received, on marketing for new clients in order to replace the 10 000 clients that have blown up.
8 000 - 9500 clients (80%-95%) will always be 'down' at any one time.
Now lets talk about the broker we recommend and why we recommend them
The broker we have came to love and where we do our retail trading is XM (https://clicks.pipaffiliates.com/c?c=445564&l=en&p=1)
So why XM?
So most brokers Hedge their client's positions. XM does not do this. XM believes in their clients and wants their clients to forever keep trading, this will there for give a positive outcome to XM and keep clients trading. ANG Capital has the same idea. We want our traders to keep trading and make money. The real truth is, if they making money, we are making money and so are XM.
Some brokers manipulate the charts and the price in order to get some big pay off. XM does not do this either. Why would you want to choose a broker that will only look out for themselves? Why would you want to risk your capital and let the broker take everything away using multiple strategies that they have found works against retail and their deposited capital. Hedging everything retail traders do and making sure that they manipulate the price in order to make a massive quick buck. We lose they win. This is not what we are looking for.
Brokers make money in a few ways mentioned here below.
Spread: Majority of brokers do this including XM. Spread is simple, its not ask or bid prices. It's the broker buying it at johnny at 7 and selling it to James at 9 so the broker makes 2!
Commission: This is made by adding a % onto the spread. XM doesn't do this and it shows they are not money hungry.
Financing Turn: This is how brokers make their money THE REAL DEAL! They borrow from creditors (Banks / Investors) to finance leverage trading and % charged to clients.
OTC Gain: This is made by taking the other side of losing / trades. XM does not do this.
