From what I know, most hedge funds use technical analysis..... but they won't admit it! lol

I know of two , trend following and mean reversion. I think for amateurs like most here are, trend following is your best shot. Just buy what is going up and sell what is going down.
When you see it, BET big.

after many years of studying, I found only one profitable strategy.
I use this now.

There are hundreds of strategy's that are profitable - for the Algo trader
There are few strategy's that are profitable - for the manual trader

Why?
Trading thin liquidity at the boundary of the charts
