Let me guess why you have missed it? Because you didn't read this thread from the start.

I'm using IC Markets raw spread account.
Anything above the line is an uptrend, below the line is a downtrend.

Thanks for the info. I'm using FXCM for the demo and for them the trading week starts Sunday night, so my pivots get all screwed up on Monday because of the short Sunday trading day. I think I get roughly the same signals as you, but for today my pivots were way closer together then yours.

I think I will switch brokers for the remainder of the demo.

Fundamental Analysis

A few points:

1. Stay on top of affairs of all currency.
2. Read diverse news prints, follow squaks, twitter...etc
3. Make analysis based on all that info.

My opinion:

1. Best if only following a limited amount of pairs. This method allows to trade 28 pairs so not necessarily good to worry about fundamental in a specific manner (less volatile news) and focus on higher impact news...NFP, Rate change...etc.
2. A trader might have analysis and trade still go against it.
3. Have your own analysis, you as the trader should have a trading plan that includes Technical AND Fundamental analysis.

Traders should already know whether they want to trade during news or not. This method seems to be more technical but might include fundamental since I see news as used to complete patterns. Please understand that in trading market does whatever it does no matter how prepared one is. Our job is not to be right our job is to trade systematically your trading plan and take advantage of and maximize high probability trades. We will win some and lose...idea is at a larger sum of trades (quarterly, yearly) we have a profitable outcome. Please study Mark Douglas to get a better idea of this.

Maybe BTM has a better explanation...but as I see this method we should analyze pair then look for entry when arrow shows, anyone only looking for an arrow in order to trade...should dedicate their time on another hobby.

That is your personal preference. Everyone will decide for himself what, if any, analysis he will do.
(Some will just blindly...trade without having a clue as to why the huge spike). (Not saying you personally).

I look for patterns and structure, but also check when news might affect strongly the price movement, sometimes it works other times not. Since you profit without news, which works well for you, might be a good option for some. However, the point here is that Mbae's decision whether to trade or not during news is affected therefore, one may see that some traders, like myself, choose to include both and some, like yourself, does not include fundamentals...and both are profitable. As I said, - 3. Have your own analysis, you as the trader should have a trading plan that includes Technical AND Fundamental analysis. IMO not looking into fundamentals or news is doing fundamental analysis.

Will share it; however, I will not post link, for two reasons:

First, is that all you got from that post? Also, there have been several posts on this thread speaking of how traders want things handed to them without any effort. Go to search. It is called Trade Report...the one I use is Trade Report Compact.

Trust me, once you start building your trading career from your own efforts you will appreciate it more and will care for it more, helping you to take it serious and be careful to do it profitably.
