Hi everyone!

Finally back to trading after incurring a string of losses last trading week. Took a break over the weekends and am back to looking at charts.

Didn't manage to post my current trading ideas here, so here's a few which I'm looking at/ am currently in!

Thanks for the reply!

i took the trade based on the curve of Daily (I shouldn't be posting charts of all 4 time frames in my posts), trend time frame on the H4 and H1 as the entry for a short term income trade. So based on this trade, with the H4 trend and momentum being up, and prices also being in a uptrend on the daily time frame with the daily supply some ways away, I took a long at H1 demand.

Yes, i definitely agree that taking a trade with prices closer to the curve time frame would improve the probabilities of working out a lot more! Another way is to go long at a higher time frame demand. For this trade, I chalked it up under costs of doing business as I would definitely take the same trade if given the same set up again.

Apologies for the slight delay in replying, been a bit busy the last week or so.

Thank you for the thoughts on the CADCHF...
Personally i would not be involved in this market at present given its 4yr trading range. Secondly, it is currently in the middle of that trading range and thirdly, the volatility has recently noticeably and significantly decreased in that trading range.
Even for short term income it is really a challenge given where price is currently.
It is one to monitor for sure as there is likely to be a significant breakout at some point. I just wouldn't participate just yet

If i may, i have attached some thoughts on the chart of the USDCHF you kindly shared above.
Like i showed on the CADCHF market above to Diddy, there are just some stages in the market where as speculators the odds are much less in our favor and so it is advisable to learn to identify these periods as much as it is important to identify the optimal times to enter a particular market.

Regarding the USDCHF, i would like to point out some market developments that many traders around the world are likely to also be monitoring
This would tie in with the weekly chart posted above and in particular be interesting for short term daily income once the market resolves the emerging pattern.
It is not a trading idea as such but an interesting state of affairs that is being monitored actively

Thank you for the charts on Gold.

If i may, i think you are definitely on the right track particularly with the big picture levels you pointed out.
The issue is on the 4hr chart where it would not be advisable to use the zone you pointed out just because of how much trading there was in that general price level
The zone you highlighted is within the bigger picture level but that is not really the main issue to be considered. The main issue is the quality of the zone being assessed.

I'd like to thank AKT for the great thread he made.
From some time I started thinking the same way.
For example that all indi's lag for real and we really don't need them.
Here I'd like to share some of my observations and ask you to comment.

First pair is AUDUSD:
Sell order can be opened on market opening.
On monthly chart we can see the road is clear to go short.
The same is true for daily chart too for at least 30pips.

Second pair is EURGBP:
On monthly and weekly charts there are no obstacles for short.
On daily chart there is a DZ which must be broken and after that
when price retest newly developed SZ we can short.

The last pair is EURUSD:
Monthly chart shows down trend and momentum.
On weekly right before Gap we have a DZ which is tested/consumed
and suggests easy breakthrough.
On daily chart range is seen which is not good place to open orders.
Just because of the Gap that should be filled I think it would be good
to open short on first possible level.

AUDUSD is approaching a H4DZ.
It's not a good place to start shorting. Wait at leas a bounce back to H4SZ or DSZ

1H I even got further looking for a more specific, smaller and fresh zone on 1H after that huge move down

1 Min I started to look at confirmation on smaller time frames.. First time taking a trade on 1 min chart!!
