Question: Are the entries in the H4 correct?

I agree, 1H with 50% adr hasn't been doing too well for me.
For manual trading, I have been using H1 50% ADR as recommended but as an extra filter (please don't shout at me ) I have the previous BD indicator on the chart set to weekly and 100%. Keeps me out of trouble and still gives a good amount of trades.

This is what I have so far since August 26th. There is a huge difference between two portfolios. I've been trading live D1-H4-H1 since 26th with BD's settings but trading maxopentrade setting as 1. I analysed my trade report, and although almost two weeks trading is not conclusive, I can say that H1 with 50% ADR is currently hurting the portfolio mainly because high volatility and +200 pips one directional moves especially on GBP and JPY pairs. Without H1, my open and closed trades profit would be $46.54 for D1 and $44.18 for H4 (+90.72) compared to current $20.93.

I don't know how you got 93.75% win ratio, but mine is, with or without H1, not more than 60%.

As I stated before, considering the risk:reward ratio of current settings, signal quality is more important than quantity.

I opened H1 and H4 for demo this week, Does anyone else have the same trade or am I missing something.

I initiated the first Allpairs EA on demo on the 26th August using v.19237. I had all the three TF's set to BD's settings (50% on H1). I didn't do a detailed report for August but sure there was +£35 (ish) and all closed trades hit TP. I updated to the latest version on 2nd September on only H4 and Daily with only one trade executing since the 2nd (date of update). Added H1 again on the 5th so have some new open trades on that report but have changed to 100% ADR.

Only difference I can see is the MaxOpenTrades. - mine set to 4 and TP/SL set according to BD's settings again.

Agree - quality is better than quantity.

@MSuccess -- could it be you are not allowed to trade symbols with the 'm' suffix?

@Blackeagle -- I'm inclined to go along with you. 50% ADR for H1 is too low. So, for now, I'm going to stick with H4.

For those who wish to "gracefully" transition away from H1 without resorting to closing the EA, you can set MaxSpreadPoints to '0' and that way it won't open any new trades, yet the EA continues to run and you give it a chance to recover and reach TP or an Exit condition (or SL).

I think if you apply HA H4 entry on H1 setting it gives much better entries.

I would stick to H4 setting for now. regards

Steep learning curve approaching! For me. Fascinating!

Most pairs have now reported with the similar ErrorCode: 4109 message on ver. 19243. I have started to switch from 'm'to 'k' pairs. Got 1 trade triggered. Then i got this error

*** [FAILED]: CustomValue_BDX_ADR: NZDJPYk: ErrorCode: 4073: -- no history data. I will see if I can download history data.

Also I am unable yet to delete / hide any of the 'm' pairs whose trades are still running. Danger lurking of EA possibly triggering additional ( duplicate) m suffix trades, but I doubt it will.

So this tells me my BDX 19243 on my VPS is working fine : H4 on std settings. ( 100 / 20 / 0 ). Strange though that ver.19237 on the laptop never complained about "the 'm' suffix " .

I will need to carefully and quickly manage these transitions in the next 12 hours prior to the CAD & US high impact news on Friday.

I see some good closed trades there. But the second image shows lot's of open trades with negative profit. have you tested using 1:1 risk/reward? if it's successful using 1:1 risk to reward ratio, I think it would be a good strategy after all.

@Fymdglv -- I don't think it repaints, but you shouldn't take my word for it. Everyone should know how to use Strategy Tester to check for repainting -- it's simple to do, takes less than 30 seconds, and provides useful information with regards to how an indicator behaves. It's a skill that belongs in everyone's tool box.

With regards to how many bars -- I think between 1-3, which is very good for a fractal indicator that is almost as accurate as a Level-3 fractal indicator. And, again, you can determine this using Strategy Tester.

As for MQ4 source code -- that's the one thing I don't share.

Hi Steve, I've started testing 100% ADR for H1. I'll let you know the results. And then I am considering to play with risk:reward settings.

I will try 100% on H1 next. 50% on H1 seems to be toasting my demo running 24/7 for the last few days. Especially with the recent Boris Johnson brexit news .
I miss CC. Steve, I know you are trying your best but I think you should reconsider putting the CC option back as input. I know they are much less shops, but in the end we win. Personally I see it as an excellent option for H1 graphics. Here I upload an example. One entry vs. 7 entries. And the only entry is winning.

Please do not rebuke me for the indicator I am using.

While I was testing with RENKO I was able to follow the EA curve while drawing so I used an unpainted TMA to simulate your indicator. Approximately
