Disliked{quote} Same question to you. Why do you assume day starts around midline? Regards, BlackeagleIgnored
DislikedIt's not often I come across a strategy that EASILY RECOVERS losses or drawdowns. This R4M-BDX-ADR strategy is one of a kind! I salute to the creators of this system!Ignored

Disliked{quote} Not the day starts at the projected midline, but the ADR of the last 20 days. Price is in all timeframes the same. Why you think in terms of days? The ADR is added on both sides of the centered TMA what i guess it uses the closeprice for calculation. The TMA acts as magnet for price and the ADR gives the gravity mostly strong at 100 % and further. Greets, Klausi.Ignored
QuoteDislikedThe TMA acts as magnet for price
Disliked{quote} {quote} Right. Over the past couple of months the software has continually evolved and improved with the help of many people. And now it's done. We're in bug-fixing mode. This is the final release candidate. And now you guys come along and want to add yet another setting that no one has a clue what value to use, or even whether it would make much difference to trading performance. The BDX settings have already been explored, tested and recommendations made. {quote} Right. And now we get to the crux of your issue. If you consider @bishopdotun's...Ignored
Disliked{quote} {quote} @rixon227 -- Perhaps -- but I'll go with "buy low, sell high". There's also "the early bird gets the worm". Why do you presume to lecture people by regurgitating such generalities?Ignored
Disliked{quote} I don't presume that, it's your assumption on me. How can anyone know they are buy at low & sell at hight? Only market knows. the only think you know & can be controlled are risk & money management.Ignored
QuoteDislikedHow can anyone know they are buy at low & sell at hight?
Disliked{quote} {quote} @Klausi -- no, it's the other way around. @Klausi -- checkout the R4M-ADRIndi indicator and you'll better understand. The ADR is based in terms of days (actually sessions). The daily range is the delta between the highest high and lowest low for that session. The ADR is the average daily range -- by default over the last 20 days. The starting price for a particular session can fall anywhere within the ADR.Ignored
Disliked{quote} NOT the day starts at the projected midline, but the ADR of the last 20 days....Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thats what i was trying to say. The ADR is the daily range that pair moved on one day. Than its averaged by 20 and added above/below the midline. Thats why i wrote {quote} Blackeagle asked why i think the day starts at the midline. I dont think that. Basically the midline, the TMA is the starting point for the ADR getting the cup filled and therefore the 50 % must not be compellingly the logic number for 1H just because 50+50 is 100. The 100% for the 4h therefore is very logical because on this level the MM`s have not much more power to...Ignored

Disliked{quote} {quote} @Klausi -- your English is fine -- no need to apologize. I know zero German -- if anyone should apologize for poor language skills it is me. {quote} No -- it's not. Check out the screen shot below. The TMA adjusts to the price. At the beginning of a session the midline can occur anywhere within the ADR. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Dont want to waste you time R4M. But thats pretty clear to me. Thats how i would explain: Example new 4H candle just opened--> new calculated TMA value 1000--> to this value we add our fictional 20 day ADR of 200 to get the upper band with the value 1200--> we do the opposite and get a lower band value of 800 next 4H candle opend--> new calculated TMA value 990--to this value we add our fictional 20 day ADR of 200 to get the upper band with the value 1190--> we do the opposite and get a lower band value of 790 Correct? If not i will just...Ignored

Disliked{quote} beautiful chart. r4m, is the any possibility to release indi like on your chart? it would be nice for manual trading, without x mark and signal dot.Ignored
DislikedHi R4Me Just a little screenshot showing a possible error (Uninitialization Reason 3) - Hope it's pretty self explanatory. My possible theory (and please don't laugh ifd it's a simple mistake on my part) - I have 4 charts open on the MT4 platform. Two are the BDX Allpairs EA (H4 and D1) set to Bishops settings. Could it be that I have two other charts open that do not have the EA's and from which I do switch from one TF to another...? Regards. Mark {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} {quote} "by a number of pips" -- like what? Give me a number that works across all pairs and time frames. "by %ADR" -- like what? Give me a number that works across all pairs and time frames. @turtlefan -- no more development based on "hunches". If you can provide tested values that work across all pairs and time frames then I would consider it.Ignored
