The ENTIRE currency market is around 5 trillion a day
Retail forex only accounts for 5 % of that amount per day (200 billion on a good day and mostly in the major currency pairs)
and good luck finding a retail forex broker that can provide even a fraction of that 200 billion in liquidity!
Because of the way retail forex is currently structured it's very shallow. The Retail forex enthusiast is subject to the brokers liquidity providers and what deals they can make with them.

The "fraudsters and schemers" just love to toot that 5 trillion per day to entice the gullible into opening an account or to persuade them to buy some service or retail forex related products...

Agree! I was gonna rebut to the guy naming me clueless but i just rest my case for the sake of the thread. But since you brought that up, let me add something for newbies and some traders who want to know. Aside from only a fraction of the 5 Trillion per day, divided by each currency pair per day, prorate it evenly to each currency value, and divided it to number of minutes per day. How much liquid now as per minute? Thats the time you see spikes and breakouts.. not all are caused by commerce, its too many right? And its too small now per minute, allowing big banks and financial institutions to dump big chunk of money to move the market. They are just saying the 5 trillion cant be move but dividing it per currency and per minute will be small enough to be manipulated. Traders should know this becouse it's our edge to use in anticipation of any spikes and breakouts coused by them. Knowledge is edge!

Retail forex is above all a commercial enterprise for brokers and "shovel peddlers". They stop at nothing to get new accounts and new customers. I take interest in debunking all their lies. I read somewhere else that the cost of acquiring new customers is going up. That is a rather positive news!

In my opinion the probablity that DAVIT blew his account is close to 100%.

When I once told him that this will be his faith, he called me a simpleton, immediately banned me like every other sceptic and continued bragging about his virtual success. How many others before him went down exactly the same path? How many will follow in the future?

All typical signs that he had a serious gambling problem and started to disconnect from reality have been visible. As long as the luck was on his side, he posted often and his ego grew exponentially, but if his mean reversion system blew up because of volatility and averaging he became silent or distracted with all kind of stories related to his family, his health, whatever...

While every person losing money to the forex industry is one too much, some of them kind of deserve it. They have to feel the effect of their own snake oil medicine which they sold to others without mercy over the years and nutured the epic lie of profitable retail forex trading. I have a hard time to believe they do if for free. You can get 250 -1000 USD per new victim as an affiliate marketer.... isn't this the most likely explanation why so many claim they make money trading retail forex and actively promote it to others and motivate them to trade, while all scientific data shows exactly the opposite?

I understand what propaganda can achieve in the age of smart phones, social media and deep fake tools.....it's a nightmare.

You can brain wash whole generations. We are just at the start of ultracheap deep fake videos at the hand of just everybody. This will likely end in a disaster.... because every fact can be just denied as faked and every fake can be easily spread as a fact. Looking at what I experienced here on FF a lot of you are simply not capable to look through even very obvious and simple lies. Nobody is immune all the time against all kind of lies....especially if the adress something you want to believe that it's true. Technology will help to spread lies faster, cheaper and wider than ever before....

To all DAVIT fans:
The probability he returns is high. FF and retail forex trading are very serious drugs.
For those who truly care about his well being, ask him if he is ok and offer support to overcome his retail forex addiction.

The whole forum is full of his personal information (that he posted himself all over the place). It's absolutly no problem for those who wanto to find out his real name, his relatives, his facebook accounts, where he lives, his phone number...etc.etc. Thank's to google street view you can even check his home, if he likes to mow his lawn, see his car, see his bike, his neighbourhood.... That's just insane and should remind everybody that such information shouldn't be accessible so easy like in this case.

I personally hope he realizes that promoting retail forex trading to others is a bad thing to do. He certainly has (like all of you) real world talents and I hope he will find the strength and support to use them in a better and more productive way. Everybody doing so would be so much better off in the long run.
Retail forex trading is a negative sum game for losers.

Ok guys been off for a few days moving home and busy trading I can say for a fact that all this negativity is not why I started the thread. And to be honest I have no need to make money selling my system as I make money from trading full time as it is.

The people that say it’s not possibly to make it are the ones that are very bitter and have lost much money.

It’s a fact that retail traders can make money because I personally speak to select few and I have them as mentors myself.

Im going to think about if I’m even coming back to forex factory as this thread was to help new traders but it’s just impossible to do.

Why is it if you are not trading/ don’t think it’s profitable etc are you still on forex factory!

i find it crazy

what i do not get why are you posting about DAVIT on this thread is it a deep seated hate , i do not follow davit , is it your aim to discredit all good traders on forex factory is it time for you to move on and trade

This is a huge problem on FF, discrediting good traders, suggesting that no one can make consistent good money from trading forex and a host of other negative claims. Always throwing the seller, scammer, affiliate accusation with no evidence.

It's true the losers statistics is large, that a very small percentage find consistent success. It's true that it's difficult to reach such high level of competency. It's true that sellers and scammers prowl on the naive on this forum. Caveat emptor !

Allow good traders to freely discuss trading and you'll be shocked what you can learn with this no holds barred discussion.

Discuss about trading matters, don't ever discuss about the trader.

It's also important that traders always stay humble and refrain from talking about themselves.

if people just went to traders threads picked out the good bits and if they decide its not for them , move to another thread our problem is most do not want to learn and want a quick one stop shop for the holy grail , most do not even read the threads so see what is being offered in the learning side of things

Thx for clarifying. Ignore the haters and lets let that positivity shine! I for one, am very appreciative of what you are trying to do and the wisdom that you have shared/will be sharing.

Daniel, are most of your trades entered off of short time frames like 1/5min or do you base entries from 1h 4h and daily? I believe you take a look at all time frames to get a better picture of what is happening on the chart.

I don't care one way or the other, but a quick look at davit's last posts shows that he is (was) drowning in drawdown since may or there about ..
