so life changes and sometimes you have two tods under four, a job n wife and well trying to remember why you are short the aussie for three months is just not fitting in my brain.. and so it is no-stops scalping season!

i think if 6850 holds tonight maybe the aussie has a chance, but considering the East coast the costs will effect the economy IMO so unless China and US sort their trade out Aussie doesnt have much hope! so maybe extendign down to 6700

not looking like a good start to the year.. In the past I have gone 'shares' in unit developments where you basically front up what you can afford to a developer who gives you a decent / massive return once the whole complex is complete. It has worked out twice so far but looks like the third developer is about to fold up and I've probably lost most of the money!!. Not a great start to the year considering. but hey, want the return accept the risks , right? !! - it aint all roses motivation for a good year (perhaps) lol, cheers.

Here's last years stats which puts a year in some perspective, boom months followed by monthly busts... You can turn that in years as well, as there have been bad years and boom years, it's just how trading goes, you get some glory and you take a few kicks to the nuts! one year you're hot stuff the next year you are not much more than a boxing bag. etc. but last year my base fx equity was not much more than 20k so it made things easier..




Jan hasn't been the best at -6% and I have been moving this account around late in and year and so will get Feb started with a NEW perspective.. I was moving to MT5 in Jan and off Oanda but I am probably going to stick with MT4 but want to get into some MT5 dashboard trading as I like the look of it. Late last year I was also going to go live on a futures account but didn't do it, simply because holding futures for even 24 hours isn't something i'm into, plus I sometimes trade fx exotics.

Must have traded about 5 styles last year.. so I guess if you want to trade and think you can get away with one thing to make a buck then you've got news coming for you!!

Crypto has a semi 2017 vibe about it this year so i might put some effort into it as I've spent a few months juggling post 2018 hodl coins into a bucket that seems reasonable.

sitting at 7% DD in FX this month so far and hit highs of 30% last year June through to Oct so it wasn't easy, it's just a small swing, right? but it seems easy sometimes.. I need to tap into March again.. what was I on?? ... I'd post my DD but I'm kinda shy.
