Using the 15min time frame with CycleV5_TS you have to be prepared for some big DDs, but generally if you can take the large DDs you will be rewarded, for example today my 15min CycleV6(4,2,3,1)+Addons(9,2.0) hit $2510 DD but recovered to post a $900 profit when the GBP pairs spiked back.

update on my day2 m15 cy5 4 2 /3 etc ..have attached day 2 results...going well but my cyc5 3 2 seems to have retired... ill reset for next week as I stated cyc v5 x 4 m15. set at 4 2 /3 2 /2 2/ 1/2 to see if the amalgamation of all sets rounds off or minimizes drawdown (or maximizes it) etc etc...usually this does soften the pain.nb the graph was started on day 1 on white line ie 60$ plus equity and red line on graph is max dd.

My basket did recover yesterday to post a handsome profit with the GBP retracement however DD was too high for my liking and margin levels were starting to become a bit of a concern.
Unfortunately I was out at the time of London open and when I saw what was happening I had to place some hedge trades using the phone which I had not done before. As always happens when you place a hedge, price started to reverse straight away and the basket closed in profit leaving me with some nasty short hedges which I now need to babysit.
I was not going to reset the DB for today's basket but have decided to remove the GBP pairs for the time being and allow the rest to assist in the recovery of the hedge.

What are your DashBoard settings? The TS does not open any trades directly, it sends signals to the DashBoard to open and control all trades.

In this case the Ball signal and the MA signal are not in agreement.
Short only below MA and Long only above MA for the swing signal.

I have been running a test for the past 3 days using the settings shown in post #5304 to test the closure of trades on the 3 Ball setting.

So far it has worked perfectly and closed 18 trades on the 3 Ball opposite swing signal.

This has been on all 28 pairs on the H1 chart and has been running non stop for 3 days so far without me touching it, leave it alone.

Entry has been on the 2 Ball.

One thing you never do when trading the swing is open the indicator settings and click OK, as this will reset everything and these swing points repaint so badly that what you see hours later is never what it was at a previous time.

This first chart shows one closure and the second image shows the 18 trades that closed on the 3 Ball opposite signal hit.
The Blue Ball color is to show what ball is being used for closure as I just colored it to show this without needing to show the settings window, all settings are the same as post #5304 and v6a was used as in that post.

I will be letting this setup run for the rest of the week and see how we end up, so far it is in profit but DD has been greater than I like.

This is a present open trade.

Here is one that entered on the 2 Ball for a short but has not created a 3 Ball exit yet, will see what it does.

As you can see the entry is not from the present 2 Ball as it repainted and moved over to the right from a previous candle. The entry would have been from the candle just prior to the vertical yellow dotted line, that's where the entry 2 Ball signal would have been and it would have entered at the open of the next candle after that.

Here is that same EURCAD example showing Tuesday's Long trade. You see the long entry on the 2 Ball candle but when it took this entry the 2 Ball signal was on the previous candle and after the trade opened the signal moved to the right as it repainted as we got a fresh signal.

The green line is the previous closed trade and the magenta line is the present open trade.
Ignore the Green and Red fractal dotted lines, they don't mean anything.

You can also see that when this trade was closed by the 3 Ball that was on the candle prior to the yellow dotted line a new short trade ( the present trade) opened as explained before.

So what you see now does not always show the true facts of what has happened in the past.

If I were to open the settings of the indicator and click OK everything shown here could change, I will not do that at this time as I want to leave it alone and finish out the week without me fooling around with it. When I close down for the week I will reset the indy and we will see how it matches up with what we presently have.

Over the past many years of writing code for EAs and indicators what we see now and what the indy or EA saw at the time may have caused confusion, so in the past I would even have the EA take a snap shot of what it saw at the time it decided to take a trade. This always proved the EA was doing exactly what it was programmed to do even though at the present time it had looked like it had screwed up. I know longer do that as generally by looking at a chart you can see what took place and why something may have happened at a specific time that the EA saw and may no longer be present.

As I said last week - it's all in the timing
Had to add funds to the account mainly due to those GBP hedge trades I took the other day but this basket has run into trouble as well and is in some deep dd
The problem with adding funds and closing non TS trades is that it affects the basket total so I need to keep re-setting the DB so that only the TS trades show up.
Once I fix up these GBP hedges I don't think I will ever trade the GBP again.

I have not had a progression deeper than 4 orders since I started this setup and now that I've gone live, I have two that are well past their max addons of 6
Might have to look at hedging these as well

The time frame of the DashBoard does not affect when the trades are taken. However, having you Cycle_TS with ema filter 55 and entry on Ball 2 you are not going to get many entries, the ema length is too short for good Ball 2 entries.

Disastrous DDs on some of my All Pairs setups as I have no Basket SL set, nearly the whole market completely swinging against the setup parameters. Also I made a mistake when setting up some of the accounts (I have to re-create some every month when they expire) by not giving them a big enough Bank account to trade Marty properly with lot size 0.1, so some of them may bomb out on margin calls before market corrects.

H1 CycleV5(1,2)+89ema+Addons(9,1) : Huge DD, bank too small to cope, markets needs to correct shortly or else margin calls will stuff up any recovery.

H1 Basket_Trader_V9 HASex(1,200)+SWGex(2,2,24) : Huge DD, unlikely to recovery even with a market correction.

HI, I can see you using cycle v6a or the one you issued to us v6 is working the same as cycle v6a

The 6a version of Cycle_TS is a new test version and is not currently available. Seller9 is posting results from the testing. The 6a version utilises the Weekly Pivot levels as a filter on the cycle Balls, for further details see post #5272 and video in post #5273.
