Did the dashboard enter the trades of you just used it as an alert to enter manually? I ask because I was using it to enter trades when signals came in but it only opens one trade so it doesn't follow the rule of trailing the SL of your second position.

i need really your help. i tried to test the strategy with the mt4 backtester and the forex simulator from soft4fx but this one did not show all indicators. does anybody know another strategy backtest software which works withh the metatrader 4? thanks in advance!

It works all right in manual by opening the template "Beat The Market.tpl"
This week I tried the "BTM DASH v1.01.ex4" but I got very few signals. I always had "Waiting for arrow."
Where am I wrong? Or is it normal?

Well, itīs M15, so itīs not too uncommon that there are no signals for quite a while.
hi BTM, do you have the script of the trend indicator? i want to add it to site Tradingview.com and trade there.

Itīs a TMA MTF indicator. Use another one, put them over each other and use that. I donīt think he shares sources.

i have pro membership with Tradingview but they dont have this indi within the libary, i did however find it on someone's website: http://nikitaforexblog.com/forex-indicator-price-border/

there are many kind of tma but D indicator works different,it may seems like tma but i saw its adjustment and trend rotation is totally different with other tma.i think BTM changed the code,i tried many kind of tma indicators but i couldn’t find non repaint like D.

No, the dashboard didn’t open the trades, I used it only for alerting me when a signal comes in and then I opened the trades manually. This way I can check the overall conditions since there have also been some additional signals during the day which have been too close to the yellow line and I normally ignored.

The D indicator redraws too (I trade the M1 with M5 settings and after the day is over, I can see the bands have changed. I donīt know how much he changed, but I get same bands with TMA MTF.
Hello everyone,So the D indicator is just a TMA centered indicator,if you looking for you found it,All TMA indicator repaint
there is a lag in the data that TMA is calculating.

When you are making trading decisions IN REAL TIME, it does not matter that the indicator redraws LATER, after you already made your decision.

Redrawing is only a problem if you want to SCROLL BACK to look at OLD INFORMATION or to run an automated back test.
The markets are speaking to you. Do you know their language? I M T

yes, exactly.
you know now why i insist to trade by rules and paste the result here to understand the behavior of system.D indicator is coded to filter adjustment as it can but not 100%,that the nature of trend indicator.
when we make the decision to open a trade,if we followed the main rules,we wont worry about it IF we followed the rules.

yes i made many changes it base code and thats why i cant share codes.and you are right it is different from other tma indicators.

when you understood the behavior and how does an indicator works,you can use in way as you like no matter what is the main goal of that indicator,for example in MACD the base usage is to see phase change or crossing 2 moving averages,but if you understand how it works,you can use it as divergence,touch points,target you tp and sl ,... by MACD .

I think D indicator is same with TMA+CG mladen NRP indi which was shared here (https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?p=10383059)
in order to get same results with D indi you must set HalfLenght=20, Price=Close, BandDeviation=2.618
But there may be differences in code which can be noticed only with live data

guys lets stick to trade and make profit,it doesnt matter i made it or other or how i changed the code, stick to our main goal, use this system and make profit.
i always says an example for my friend, imagine you are a prisoner and you got a hammer,dont waste your time about how does this hammer made,who gave it to me or why,or is it strong or not,go break the wall and scape,thats the purpose that hammer made.
