yeah get it now, theres no significant movement since yesterday, and i adjust the extreme price form 100 to 50, now it takes trade in gbpcad.. check the chart with the indi.. thank you!!

It is not that I don't trust the algorithm I just wondered why it was not there which made me think twice before taking the trade.

Yep I shall remove the HA just in case.

@Simontw -- you are right. It would also make me think twice. It should be there.

When I overlay the HA indicator I can see there is a red-to-white transition below the band and, so, it makes sense there should be a blue dot. I don't know why it doesn't appear in this case. Please let me know (with a screen shot) if you see it again.

Something new happend this morning starting at 09:00

The EA all pairs H1 kept buying/Selling Silver, Look at the timestamps , every 32 seconds !
I had to exit the EA to stop it and restarted windows to be sure, so no screenshot.

If nobody else had the same, then it must be local (computer/broker)
I had 3 allpairsEA open, H1,H4 and D1 with the recommended settings 50/100/150

Back to manual trading the BDX for me.

Big thanx to Robots4me and Bishopdotun for the BDX system, Never was so much owed by so many to so few.

You need to provide complete information to help @R4M check and probably reproduce.

- Send the chart with the trades. You should attach a trade plotter to mark the entry points on your screenshot
- Show us the all pairs EA chart with the version of the EA you are using
- Show the comment section of trade terminal so we can know which TF

Hi, this happens if you have an entry and an exit signal in one candle. for example entry conditions met and midline cross.

No. It will not close it.

Go go back to read the thread again about exits.

Exit is the x marks (blue for closing long trades and red for closing short trades)

@LuXing -- what is the Exit rule? Does the Exit rule use HA transition?

How many posts have already described Entry and Exits? I need to start minimizing posts that ask questions for which answers already exist. I know you don't have time to search. And I don't have the time or inclination or patience to post the same information over and over and over again.

Thank you for the comments but words are not enough. Btw the situation you are describing never occurred.

Show me screen shots. That's the only way we can replicate the problem.

Yes, and the short entries are the purple dots.
Do you see the purple dot in my screenshot ? Neither do I.
That is because the indicator is playing up a bit. It showed a purple dot before, but it refuses to paint it now.
No matter if I reload the indi, open a fresh chart, etc.
If the purple dot for the short entry is missing, is it maybe possible that that a red X is missing ?

Midline cross or HMA transition.
You failed to answer what HMA is. Heikin Magic Ashi (indicator) colour change ? Hull Moving Average (how many periods) ?

Don't presume I do not have time to search.
I make time to search and am generally thorough in doing my homework.

The question about what HMA actually is was asked here (https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?p=12451666#post12451666) but never answered.
The only explanation regarding HMA you posted is this:

"HMA transitions -- this is another beast. They are rarely used but I decided to add them as a potential backup. I have a nice indicator whose name suggests it is HMA-based, but the source code is decompiled -- so it is hard to tell what the actual algorithm is. It's markings appear similar to a Smoothed Heiken Ashi, but not quite. I'm using it as "plan B" for Exits. But, again, the vast majority of the time trades will Exit due to TP or midline crossing."

So, to check the EA's trade logic for both entries and exits users will have to rely on the R4M BDX ADR indicator that sometimes plays up and doesn't necessarily always paint the entries/exits.

That clearly shows you do not understand the exit process and you are too arrogant to to do the reading. HA is clearly different from HMA. Isn't it? I assume you have been around long enough to know.

So let us assume you know. Did you at any point in time read this quote from @R4M:

"Entries: Blue dots are BUY signals and purple dots are SELL signals.
Exits: The 'x's are Exit signals. Red 'x's mean close either BUY or SELL trades. Blue 'x's mean close BUY trades. Purple 'x's mean close SELL trades."

Those that have been following would have read that somewhere in the thread. Below is my chart and open trades on GN.

"Blue 'x's mean close BUY trades. Purple 'x's mean close SELL trades."

The last HMA exit signal was a purple "x" circled in green. If there was any sell trade open, it would have been closed. The next HMA exit signal would be a blue "x". Therefore, your sell trades would still be in play. Before the sell trades can be closed, we need to get a Blue "x" and then a purple "x". Do you know why? I can't help if you dont.

- That's not true. In his first post on BDX, exits were clearly defined.
- @R4M was open enough about the code and the short comings - (so it is hard to tell what the actual algorithm is. It's markings appear similar to a Smoothed Heiken Ashi, but not quite. I'm using it as "plan B" for Exits.) The HMA purple and blue dots are emergency exits in case the price moves in opposite direction. However, it must first align the HMA transition to prevent closing the trades too early.

What more clarity do you want?

The indicator does not play up. It is not a magic wand. It responds to price. Think again. What we have done is to look for an edge. We found one and we made something out of it. It is not perfect but it does the job.

It's internet and I expect people like you and your type of comments to come. Someone has worked his ass off to make something. You should at least put in your work and stop shooting down other people's honest contribution just because you don't understand it or too lazy to do the minimum.

Finally, it is not compulsory to use it. There are many threads and forums on Forexfactory. You can move over there. Thank you.

You are trying so hard to make a point. But clearly, you need to read more about the logic.

1. There is no entry signal on that bar.
2. The exit signal is on that bar. Therefore execution will be on the open tick of the next bar. Trade decisions are taken at the close of the bar. Exit should happen on the next bar

Again you are wrong.
