Sorry to hear Li, I had another wave for the Dow, thinking Gold would be an advantage long, have to admit was a little sceptical until the news, it even closed my EUR/USD trades that were open over a week with the EA, surprise all round, D

Got WTI hitting $50 if the predictions right, the tariffs will be the coffin, just my opinion.

My sentiments too, reliant on the trade deal has done a 180 cannot see it sustaining a rise, daily (to me) always showed a bounce to continue lower, Vacation Tuesday, so you will have me Mondays session then whoosh, need it, been nonstop since the start of the year, D

Gladly.. markets got the brakes of... Got a rebound today... USD released some steam, luckily (otherwise we would receive some nasty interventions later...) in order to regain it now slowly.. and even increase it... And since USD is important part of the element.. I would watch this hypothesis to be (Re)confirmed/rejected in the next week(s)... Yeah, I think WTI Crude OIL will resume 1month+ (down)"trend" from next week on (meaning now... UNLESS of course some WTF tweet/tension might distort it.. but I think that we are out of major battles (after this 8days hell/lock)... for the next 1-2months

The Fed will do what's best for the country not the market, when the baby throws the toys out thee crib, it cry's to get them back, but the crying will stop on assurance of no return, think WTI is, in my opinion, sub $40, all attempts to big it up have failed, the daily shows the way, all in my opinion of course, as for the $, what goes up, cometh down, that said, the £ has fallen greatly over the past 100 years, maybe we have another 99 years of the $ rising, D

The new Red Arrow on Thursday was timely, although I was not very confident about it--PA was wobbling at the time.

To tell you the truth I was quite (and) positively surprised by this.. They got my increased respect and confidence for this Because if they would bow to pressure.. ECB (and others) might follow and we might never see the end of it.. I mean... I am not even sure if the reasons for this "lower the rates" obsession are understood by the ones that proposed/s them... they seem to be focused only to "one" part only... like lowering rates/currency->increase exports.. among other things (increased loans/spending)... but what about paying (higher) for IMPORTS... and US has a (trade balance) deficit anyway and don't get me into the capital flows, reserve currency status etc if they would play with this (too) much. Yeah I am aware of the lowering the DEBT they owe also Ok do not want to go into the economics too much because... it might be too long of a debate and outside of this thread... but again... I love that the FED seems to have some authority.. and not to BOW, but yet to release some pressure and show openness for further actions.. should the economy (really) need it I am also glad how the market(s) responded today... But the question is... will it go where it is "suppose to" now.. To be confirmed next week

I hope you are right. I have my doubts that the Fed is not cracking a bit under the pressure though. Some of the moves they have made recently blame the trade war for actions that otherwise would make little sense.

Well so far, it seems they cracked just enough to release some critical steam (you can find "proof" that they played it good... on the twitter (the aftermath tweets)... It seems that things are all nominal now and will continue to do so for the next 1-2months.. I believe or at least hope that this STALL/gridlock is OVER for some time.. otherwise... I mean... we might just make the EARTH STOOD STILL which is not sustainable.. It amazed me that they could almost completely freeze the market for more than a week already....

How do those Red Arrows and Green Arrows appear on my charts? Easy: When the median and close both cross EMA20 in the same bar, an arrow appears. Subsequent wobbling around EMA20 is ignored for a while.

I was out on errands Friday, so missed all the excitement (and presumably some pips as well).

Next week is another opportunity. Nice weekend for all.

Hah! Maybe so, but also, I kinda love this times... to get some TIME for REAL TRADING... instead of watching the big ones fighting all the time.. at the expense of the "normal people"... Nothing disturbs my trading (model) more than when the central banks or some central power (figure) starts playing the almighty
Here is some relevant scene for you I just love for the HERO to REST a little.. so we can see what the markets are in REAL Just for a while... We can still bring another light, later Would just love to see REAL MARKETS, at least for a while

TC, as ever, my choice of weapon deemed by the arrows, in conjunction with all associated (spellchecked) felt the Dow, Gold had more to offer, that said, nothing short of 360 pips from my first short, gave up with the rise only to be fooled, we live and learn, great post as always,don't stop, D
