I'm gonna make a prediction on the SPY:

If it can not maintain and close above ~291.85 (weekly mid-BB) at the end of trading tomorrow, we will see a down week next week. We haven't seen much range this week, with the difference between opening/closing so far only being 0.26. In my opinion, if there isn't enough strength to maintain above the mid-BB (which is roughly the 21EMA) this week, that will be seen as a weak market and we will move down next week.

I hope that is not the case, but I've seen this a lot throughout the years, so something to just keep an eye on.....

Not much to look at today, but one is interesting:

CREE Aug30 49 CALL @ $0.80 or better

The Daily candle is completely outside the lower BB and that normally means an up day the next day, so I will probably get some before the close. I have a bid in now for $0.75, but may raise it closer to the close if I need to....

CREE Aug30 49 CALL @ average $0.49, bringing average down to $0.62

Had a Hail Mary bid out and didn't expect it to be filled but somehow it was....filled over a small range, but filled nonetheless...

Sometimes I like the longshot gamble based on nothing but gut feeling, and I'm hoping things will settle out over the weekend or even before the close. I just think the drop was just a fast overreaction move......

...WILL indices bounce back next week? I bot a SPX Sep6/9 2940/2945 call diagonal for 45c credit.....

I think we will see some up time next week, but it looks to me (on my charts) that the overall weekly will be a down week. The Daily lower BB and the monthly 10EMA are roughly the same on SPY (~283.40-ish), so I would expect that to be the next stop....

I have jury duty next week...hopefully it will be cancelled....hard to watch your trades when the judge is looking at you!!

.DIAGONALS are cool but risky....the trade above is a bearish trade with a door open for a bullish move...I bot the spread for about 45c net credit ... I got paid to trade...and there's a >$5 upside for a good finish at expiry, but the risk is large if it overshoots....

We still have the FOMC, they will prolly start saying soothing words, but there's only so much they can do. Just in case, though, I am looking on Craigslist for a big butterfly net I can use to catch the helicopter money. If any of them slip up and say anything bearish, there's plenty room below.....

not much time to work with but the margin I used for call diag will spot me an identical put diag - I will watch for an opp to do that next week

Well, I have to report for jury duty tomorrow...maybe they'll see a crazed look in my eye from having to totally rely on limit orders for trading and release me!!....
