DislikedAnd the same GBPCHF chart. Find the difference between two pictures . The fourth bar from last keeps changing its colour when current price changes. I just wonder why. As far as I know HA bars do not repaint. Regards, Blackeagle {image} {image}Ignored

Disliked{quote} I see the blue x, but the problem is HA colour was still blue meaning there was no transition, the position should have been closed 2 bars later when HA colour changed. Or by "transition", do you mean EA does not wait for bar close to check colour? Regards, BlackeagleIgnored
DislikedFirst poster here ! Hope not to be shot down at first try ! Trying to understand entries/exits of the BDX strategy. I understand that we enter at standard heiken ashi transition above/below bands and exit at midline cross or smoothed heiken ashi transition. I cannot replicate the entries showed by the BDX indicator (nor the exits). Here are two screenshots of EURUSD H4 timefrime. First screenshot shows heiken ashi as used by the indicator. Second screenshot is my standard heiken ashi indicator. Meaningful differences here. Just want to understand...Ignored
DislikedJust spot that inconsistency as well. How can it shows a bearish Heiken Ashi transition on that big bullish bar (that EU H4 as well) ? {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} {quote} @Blackeagle -- .... the price had turned bearish and could have been headed to your SL. But the HMA transition detected a bearish, downward price movement and, so, the strategy decided it was best to get out now.Ignored
Thanks for your message robots4me. I'm testing the BDX strategy manually effectively, but as others, i like to understand what I am testing. I know perfectly how heiken ashi is working. Heiken ashi is Heiken ashi. No variable used. Formulas to calculate open, low, high close of HA candle are all other the place. There should be no difference between heiken ashi indicators, if both are standard indicators. So, if i see a difference between your indicator and standard heiken ashi, then I ask a question in order to send my feedback. If I see your indicator showing that bearish heiken ashi transition on that big bullish bar (post 5926), i suspect that it is not using standard heiken ashi, because I know how heiken ashi is calculated. Maybe you are using a modified HA algorithm and that 's fine. But don't state it is the standard one.
But it seems you are a busy man, so don't want to take more of your precious time. Seems you are not interested. I will effectively open a new thread to try to resolve that mistery of a red HA bar on that big green candle.
DislikedWow! The BDX All pairs EA was right at the moment on the right sides of spikes. The settings were 34 % ADR-15M. Sure on Demo. Great. {image} Edit: the de30 trade has nothing to do with BDX.Ignored
Disliked{quote} It would be nice if you can post the charts with spikes showing your entries. CheersIgnored
Disliked{quote} Be carefull with 30% ADR. Actually, there is nothing like that. Those results are just pure luck. It wont survive during huge price swings. 100% or nothing Edit: 100% could mean 2 things. 1. 100% ADR offsets (This applies to HTF - H4, D1). The bands then become a dynamic 200% ADR range. I strongly recommend this for beginners. 2. 50% ADR offsets (This applies to LTF - M15, M30, H1). The bands then become a dynamic 100% ADR range. This could work for scalpers but you are carrying a huge risk of price swings. The advantage is that the bands...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Here you are: {image}{image}{image} Edit: I will trade this on 4 h with original 100% ADR settings. But for fun i will run the EA on 50 %ADR on Demo. Who knows... Great stuff! See ya.Ignored
