The markets have been so nervous and jumpy and this is definitely due to Trump and his battle with the Fed. But when does this market behavior finally end? In September after summer is over?

This is exactly my frustration. And worse of all he likes to speak when I'm sleeping. I've had so much of my profits burned just because he opened his mouth while I was sleeping.

Trump has become a pain to everybody. Perfect trades are destroyed once he talks. And it seems he is doing this on purpose. He is repeating the same thing everytime and yet the market keeps reacting. Maybe we should stop selling EU. Other pairs don't react to his stupidity except EU. Had sells in profit and now all vaporated and my trades knocked out.

The real unfortunate thing is that trump does have the power to set fiscal policy.

Markets have had a shift in their fundamental outlook... EurUsd shorts benefitted mostly due to a strong dollar, weak euro but mainly due to yield carry traders found attractive. With current shirt in outlook US expected to cut rates 3 more times before the end of year or 75pts, carry traders are now unwinding and EURO will benefit from this.

Technicals play no part in a fundamental market... and at the moment all moves are done due to the fundamentals. Maybe after BREXIT and US-CHINA trade war comes to an end we can start using the technicals a bit more with confidence.

1.10 seems like a bottom for an upswing towards a retest of 1.1340 and 1.14... if 1.1410 is broken then 1.16 opens up

i was stopped out at 1.1180 on my previous 2 longs but i am now long 2 positions from 1.1038 & 1.1039 both are protected.. targetting 1.1340 as a TP1 and 1.1410 as a TP2,, break above 1.1410 TP3 will be open for 1.16-1.20 zone!

It's unfortunate. Now people just buy indiscriminately and in due time Trump tweets and they hit TP. How long is this madness going to continue. 1160 and 114x area are areas I had My sights on, but Trump won't let it. He has won if the market only listens to him.
